Jax was justified. If Jury hadn't tried to kill him he'd be alive.

I can get that Jury is beyond disappointed in Jax and rageful about his son but I don't really understand why he reached for his gun and pointed it at Jax. He was aware that pressing the daddy button could make Jax angry and should have expected the punch, I even think that Jury deserved to get his own swings as well. But he needlessly escalated the situation to the lethal level and the case of self defense was perfectly reasonable. Even after the truth came out, Jax didn't deserve the Mayhem vote for this.

It's been years since I watched it. But why did Jax lie? Jury was going for his gun to shoot him. He had every right to kill him?

Felt really bad for Jury man. He was just getting to know his son, who was shot dead & now this. One of the unfair deaths in SOA history after Opie Winston in S5 & Donna in S1
