I’m a woman and this is hilarious. You’re very right about the incense and crystals women. But as a woman let me put you on to something: there are women who don’t have the look who are into that life too, so the men have to be careful regardless of how a woman presents herself. Like you said, it’s apart of people’s cultures. Even as a man you have to be careful associating with other men because there are men into that stuff too. Good points here. Are you Black American? I would love to hear your viewpoint about xenophobia towards Black Americans from Caribbeans in South Florida.

They’re all damn near naked down here, even the professional regular ones. It’s the climate and the culture. I had this convo with a chick recently that deleted her ig because she didn’t like the attention she was getting from it and I told her she doesn’t realize every pic of her is at the beach, on a boat, by a pool or at the club or a restaurant so that means all her pics are either in a bikini or a revealing outfit and its like a light went off in her head because she didn’t think of it like that. Then ya the beads and herbal crystal and sage chicks have emotional issues and they’re trying to find something to cope with it but they won’t go to much into religion because they’re wild and loose and don’t want the judgement so the incense and beads is the next best thing.

I moved to South Florida for a while and it was very inspiring to see what was possible it helped me expand my mind and have higher expectations of myself yet from a logistical standpoint Miami or south Florida isn’t good for a black man who isn’t rich already to make it ! You’ll likely be stuck in low wage jobs yet the rent is insane. Miami is a place where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Another thing you don’t understand about Latinos especially in south Florida is that they have a very good support network because family ties are strong in Miami so on the outside it might look like they are coming from nothing but South Florida is run by Latinos.

This is cap. True enough, immigrants come to South Florida with nothing. However, they are given housing benefits, free healthcare, EBT and most importantly, business loans and grants to open businesses and buy property. Benefits that not even Native Black Americans don’t qualify for. I grew up with Haitians and Jamaicans. All of their parents owned their homes within 1 year of moving here. They had the exact same jobs as Black Americans. Warehouse, grocery, restaurant, retail, construction, factory jobs etc. But they all owned houses. They didn’t work any harder than Americans, they just had initiative, and financial support from taxpayers. Same as we see with the illegals today. This is nothing new. Migrants were always given preferential treatment from Corporations and government to specifically undermine Black Americans.

I will have more respect for those immigrants if they build up their own countries because their countries need the development more than Miami. If they can build in America than what is stopping them from building in their own countries who need the development the most. America is allowing them. America has the power to deny black Americans reparations. It is the same power America is allowing them to succeed in America

Brah..if u think its high in Miami..go to cali. Me and the wife just came to Miami to jump start her career in the medical field. Miami gave her the first opportunity in America since she just came from the Philippines less then a year ago. Theres no way i would have came here if it wasnt for her. Im just a working dude making $23 an hour back in cali working at LAX. Here the apartments cost the same but the pay is much lower then cali. When i found out how much they wanted to pay me at MIA i just said thank you but no thank you..ill just resign. Id probably make more driving uber or lyft...no cap! Plus i noticed that nobody wants or likes to speak english besides out in Miami Beach or up in broward. Now about the traffic..its the same as LA with less freeways and why all the damn freeways here u gotta pay for..i mean its just chump change but that shit adds up for a whole year think about it. In LA there's tons of traffic but there's some kinda respect but here..boy these cats are RECKLESS..smashing different lane with 90% of the people not even signaling half the time and cutting you off at the very last minute..like i almost got hit numerous times already..which never happens in LA that ive experienced. So for the mean time since the wife making good bread i just considered this a long vacation for 3 years until we bounce outta here. I do like it here..but it aint as it seems like on TV. And now let's talk about the cubans here..well lets not go there right now..although im half puerto rican my spainsh is only proficient and not bilingual..the minute i open my mouth they know instantly that im not one of those typical island type ricans cuz of my flow of slow spanish like its spoken in cali. And another thing...the mexican food here is FAKE and WACK..i was like is this your best burritos lol. Ill enjoy it for the meantime but im counting the clock for the 3 year mark to head back. Just like when biggie said..im going going back back to cali cali 🤣 🤣 🤣

The women you’re describing that are so obsessed with status and signaling money to get them are just good looking losers / jezibels….I’d imagine there are quality people to meet other places besides clubs etc…I don’t even drink so I don’t plan at being at clubs too much. I work from home though so I’ll def have to force my self out different places to meet people.
