Outside my front door the same species built her nest and is now raising 4 young birds. They have their feathers and are crowding each other with no room for mom. She diligently feeds them constantly through the daylight hours. She sits on a nearby fence in the evenings after dark and waits until dawn. The young will leave the nest soon. It has been my pleasure to keep an eye on this bird family. I’m still unsure exactly what species they are.

After doing some research, I found out that the eastern phoebes are nesting around this time still so it could very well be the same species. I confused them with mockingbirds before because they're slightly similar. It's great that the chicks will be ready to leave soon, but be prepared for the pile of poop they'll leave behind lol

Thanks for your reply about the eastern phoebe. I am quite attached to this family from the beginning as she built her nest from moss and mud. Birds are amazing parents.

Please leave the nest alone and document the birds determination to raise a brood of her own in a very safe place!

Thanks! We did leave the nest up, and now she has laid some eggs so we definitely won't take it down. It's not the safest place but she was persistent, so we'll let nature take its course!

Not a waste of time. It’s faster than waiting for a Uber then sit in traffic through red lights. Also it’s way more fun to be in a tesla and inside a colorful tunnel

I went from convention all the way to resort world in 3 minutes. Normally takes 5 minutes on the road plus how ever long it takes for a Uber to get here and uber cost a lot more than a Tesla tunnel ride. Tesla tunnel has $9 for a day pass unlimited rides

And when I arrived at resort world, I was already inside of the building, vs a Uber has to park illegally on the side of the road then I have to walk all the way to resort world. Vegas Loop I’m already inside I take the escalator and I’m inside the resort world already and it’s also ventilated the entire way so it’s never too hot or too cold
