The initial ones do need to be 260cm and then they are folded in half. Because it is a dense square knot pattern it uses a lot of rope. If you use the measurements in the box and follow this video for technique.....it works. At least it did for me!

Some of what you are doing with your hands is not visible, and it's way too fast for beginners

Where do you stop for the small tree? Driving me crazy!!! I was given the large kit for Christmas as I'd enjoyed making a key ring at a resort in Lanzarote. The videos go too fast too for a beginner.

Instructions in pack says 2 Pcs of each. Which would gi e us 26 pcs of rope, but ig doesn't say 260cm. Not 4. Of each 4 of each give us 28. Please what is the correct measurements. This is confusing.

Thanks for your advice. With regard to the size and amount of rope, both the subtitle's advice and the instructions' advice are suitable for weaving Christmas tree 1. The subtitles suggest using 28 ropes and the paper instructions suggest using 26 ropes. 28 ropes will produce a Christmas tree that is a little bit larger. But the weaving is the same and will not affect the steps. If you are a beginner, we recommend that you prepare your materials as suggested by the subtitles. I'm sorry that these errors have caused you inconvenience, I hope my answer can help you.

In the leaflet it says the size of tree 1 is 30*24cm and there's instructions saying 4 pieces each of 170cm, 130cm, 100cm (total 12 pieces, length: 1600cm/52ft)

There’s no way the lengths of rope shouod be 260cm that’s 2.5 metres

The sizes of rope on this video are completely different to the sizes on the instruction including in the box
