@jdmtb4 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear about the dropper post problem. If your Rise is newer, it may have the EP801 motor which requires a different tool. It looks like the LRT-4 will work with the EP801, but I’d validate that with park tool before buying.

Gotcha. That’s not good cause there is a comment from park tool saying the LRT-4 should work for the EP801. Guess I’ll have to get the Shimano one if I ever get an 801 motor.

pretty similar to the 2023 wild. I had to replace my dropper cable and take the motor and battery out. But now just waiting on a O ring that goes on one of those big spacers that was ripped when I took out the motor, the wild has just one big spacer tho. Thinking of buying some lights now that the battery and motor are out, hehe

I don’t disagree that it’s a lot of the same. Not a lot of thinking required and I find my mind drifting while riding it, but that’s most flow trails for me. Crunchy is my favorite at Massanutten.

If you first loosen the 2 Allen bolts on the cranks the preload cap will come off very easily.
@Tarnman5 ай бұрын
FYI one does not need the cassette tool for chainring removal. Just leave chain on and hold the wheel while loosening the cassette ring. And when tightening the chainring just install non driveside crank first and use that as to tighten chainring.

Question: If they are easily removable, are they likely to pop off if the camera falls (the situation wglhere you would really need them)? The latch system seems a little unreliable, what's your opinion on that?
