Direct drive is as it sounds one motor and steering wheel benefits faster stronger. Not ones are gear driven like g29 or belt driven some thrustmaster products both not strong and fast to respond.

What is your steering wheel rotation set to because mine feels supper weird on 900 but feels but on 2000 the max but it still doesn’t feel as smooth as a normal Logitech would. I’m on the series x as well don’t know if anyone else has this set up or runs into this issue

İts not about how strong it is its about how fast it turns that makes the difference. Reaction time is faster than i can react sometimes and allso its not very smart to try to hold on when you crash you might broke the wheel or wheel base these are toys not real deals

Do you get any rotational slack on the shaft? Mine feels like the gear knob is a little loose. There is the MockRacer can fix but I haven't been game enough to try it yet.

Not all games will give you consisten ffb you will always have to dig in to settings i do share my setting in my other videos or mostly i find from fanatec forums. Console sim racing is not good for example assetto corsa competisione pc versus xbox version ffb is hugely different i cannot give you specific settings and works like magic you have to try

Have you have any issues with this wheel? I’m torn between the CSL dd 8nm for 500$ bundle or the moza r5 5.5nm bundle for 450$ I like the fanatecs bigger wheel and 2.5nm more of torque, but people have been saying that fanatecs quality of wheels and pedals aren’t very good

Electronics are pure luck i guess i have never had any issue with my fanatec gear i been using since release of gt dd pro my pedals handbrake and shifter is even older. But many people are having problems as you said. I haven used and moza produckt so i cannot give any info about it ony correct info is moza's qr system is one of the best so i can recomend you fanatec becouse its easy of use its up to you.

@@blackhelmet48 I decided on fanatec cause I didn’t realize it would be 200$ for shipping all the MOZA stuff on top of it saying that the r5 won’t arrive for 20-25 days, I know it’s just where they are based but fanatec shipping was 45$ for a whole setup and it will arrive 7-14 days (moral of the story im impatient)😭
