It's a great religion if you are rich and can bring in other recruits. They used to be vicious in their treatment of anyone who dropped out. They would spread false rumors to your employer, the police, plant fake reports in your medical records, whether you spoke out against them or not.

Scientology Looms as Kubrick Daughter Scraps. Eyes Wide Shut - everyone wants hump Tom Cruise in movie EWS. Even French Carl is a "math professor" fleur-de-lis wallpapers (prince of Wales?) he is doppelganger of Tom Cruise and his wife is 100% clone of Nicole Kidman (Marion Nathanson) tried to rape Tom when dead father is dead in next room, what the fuck happened with our society? Nobody wants fuck math nerd even he looks like 100% tom cruise is nothing new. Wikipedia helped: Carl - Gibson made his movie debut in Ron Howard's Far and Away, in which he portrayed Stephen Chase. Chase was the villainous rival of Joseph Donnelly (Tom Cruise) for Shannon Christie's (Nicole Kidman) affections. Tip Gun increased recruitment in USA Army 7 times, best war propaganda movie ever. I unfortunately got involved in Scientology 40 years ago in 1981. There were several people I met in Scientology who had hysterically bad tempers just like the woman in this video. If staff members can't convince you to spend more money or join to become a full time staff member, they will yell and intimidate and ridicule. Take it from someone with first hand knowledge and experience, Scientology is neither a church or religion. It's nothing more than a money making cult.

My mother has a friend who was interested in joining Scientology back in the '80s. He volunteered instead of joining so he could see what it was like. Apparently they fiddle with a lot of complicated-looking "mind tapping" devices, have telepathy practice sessions, recite delusional incantations ("I used to be a great piano player," for example, while never having touched a piano before) and venerate made-up action figures as if they were real. It's a crazy, possessed group with rabid followers.
@stevefix11123 жыл бұрын
One can't "volunteer" without becoming a Church member. As for your other comments about their practices, they are largely false. Perhaps you should stick with knocking other religious practices such as believing in the "virgin birth."
@faeriebility3 жыл бұрын
@@stevefix1112 Those were my mom's friend's experiences. I don't know whether they are "false" or not. He was a volunteer at a church in LA in the late 70s and 80s. But, you know, a little research into Scientology brings up so many bizarre things about the "religion" that I'm willing to believe him. BTW a virgin birth is pretty wild, but the whole Xenu thing tops that IMO.
@stevefix11123 жыл бұрын
@@faeriebility I suspect that your mom's friend was reluctant to "admit" membership in the COS so to cover it up merely stated that he was a "volunteer." As with most religions there are issues with the COS as well. The bottom line is: does their philosophy work in a practical sense? Does it help you function better in life? Most criticism is from people who know little to nothing about their practices.
