What happened to gfriend was a contract termination. For the past 4 years, the girls themselves have continuously stated in the media, interviews, even Sinb on queendom 2 that they never disbanded and always wanted to continue. Even in their latest episode of 'The Seasons: Lee Youngji's Rainbow' which was released last night, Sowon said that a lot of articles came out with the word 'disband' but the truth is that it was a termination of contract.

I read 아르기닌 which phonetically spelled a-reu-gi-nin. So it's (one of them) basically arginine supplement, which is amino acid = protein related supplement.

@faizalaziz4796 yep, it's an energy related supplement. Essentially like you said, amino acid/protein stuff but it also acts as a vasodialator which allows for more blood flow, increasing the oxygen carried throughout the body :)

Glad you got tickets! Idol or not? Under Korean management, the marketing approach is probably the same used with idol groups. But the official story is Jayoung, Hyunjung, and Yeong Eun were in a band called Rose Quartz. Iree and Arem were in another band called Rolling Girlz. The two bands met when they played a show together and decided to merge....hence Rolling Quartz. Watching for "Reminiscence". Jayoung's voice gives me chills on that song! As for the list, it isn't so much that it's so long (only about 90ish songs) but the fact that so much new stuff comes out that I don't get much time to devote to requests recently. Hoping to change that this month though since it looks like kpop is pretty light on releases. Will be tough still since I have 4 major concerts coming over the next few weekends but we will see haha. Btw I went ahead and listened to the two links, both were good and I know you weren't asking for a preference but if I had to pick one group over the other I'd have chosen Rose Quartz (even aside from my Youngeun bias, their sound was a bit more refined to me)

Thank you so much, Jeff for this reaction. Yes, another healing song from BTOB..cool, fun but really comforting and reassuring that everything will be alright. Whatever situation we are in right now, whatever's causing us pain or making us feel burdened..all these will end soon, we just have to hang on and be strong coz we'll triumph over these in the end and we'll be alright once again. Love how BTOB makes songs that are not only fun to sing but also speak of things that anyone can relate to. Really simple and relatable and good. Yes, they have dropped their last digital single on the 31st I think..titled HI BEAUTIFUL but just the audio. Any promotions for it were temporarily postponed to give way/respect for the airport tragedy that happened in Korea lately. There may be a live clip for it or whatever, we also don't know but hopefully promotion for it would continue soon. But you can check it out on BTOB official channel on YT. Thank you..

I never get tired of this song because every part of it makes me feel good. I love the fact that it came after "Please Stay," which is beautiful but sad. Then "Hi Beautiful" just makes my Melody heart warm. This Becoming Project just makes me really anticipate what BTOB is becoming. Jeff, I really appreciate your emphasis on healing and mental health. The holiday time is especially an important time to focus on it because people tend to think they "should" be happy even if they're not. Looking forward to your next BTOB reaction!

It's a lovely song that can help us all through some tough times. It's beautiful that they can make songs like this that radiate warmth and comfort to the listeners in an age where so many just make music without any soul or connection. If they release a video of any kind (mv, special clip, live clip, etc.) for Hi Beautiful,. let me know and I'll react to that one too :D The holidays can definitely be even harder than normal for people who are lonely or down so I agree that it is important to do your best to keep your mental health strong, especially during this time of year. Medically, there is even a condition called Seasonal Mood Disorder or Seasonal Affective Disorder (ironically acronym-ed SAD) which essentially means (for people that have it) it is more likely to be or become depressed during cold/less sunny season partly due to the lack of light which can alter the chemicals produced in the body/brain and and can also make things seem generally less hopeful. Lookin forward to more BTOB :D

It does suck to see him so underrated but you know what hurts more? I think it hurts more because we can tell it actually hurts him too. Like, if he didn't care at all maybe it wouldn't be as bad but he does care deeply and it makes it so sad.

@Unnilie It still makes me mad that he didn't place in the final group on Boys Planet. He was so strong the entire competition and somehow the public just stopped voting for him. Either it was rigged or the public is blind and deaf. I like zerobaseone for sure but I still haven't bought a single album and I think part of the reason for that is because I know that group would have been better with Hui and Jay Chang in it. I haven't seen any Lee Mujin service actually. Since I've been so busy reacting and those get blocked, I haven't found time to check any of them out even though I've heard there's a lot of amazing performances there. Hopefully someday soon!

I love how there are a lot of little things that tie in with her being from Oklahoma, the music at the start has an old western movie feel and the whistling whippoorwill sound and the line I'm a wild gun slinger, meet your maker is like a go-ahead punk make my day line. Yes, the line Do or Die could be in reference to her song Do or Die as well as this fitting into the AI Trooper theme. Oh and on X I saw that she is going to guest with Rolling Quartz in Seoul, I wish she would join them for the Oklahoma City show too.

My personal interpretation, the singing part is a love letter to the long waiting fans (I never left and wont let you go), the rap part is attracting the media and the haters 1) Petal of flower refer to flower road and you can see him doing similar gestures twice (pulling sth from his bandmates) in mama performance 2) Frog troops I personally understand as the media and haters and then he shot them in big bang 3) "They gon wait still Im gone", I think is pointing to the media and particular members in the industry who want to eliminate him (you can search his drug scandal last year, simply the media wrote a false article saying he using drugs and finally he proved himself to be purely clean)

And LaSalle Ave is indeed significant as it’s the street he grew up on and his parents still live on. Loved the lyric breakdown and As far as I know from what he has said the song is as you mentioned about him wanting to go back to when life was simpler and more easy as a child with no worries. You should totally listen to his first mini album and react to his 2 title tracks from that album which are “Rockstar” and “I’ll be there”

If you want to hear more of their vocals, they did a stripped back version of this song recently on a channel called 내내스튜디오 as well as a couple of their other songs. No back track, no loud production, just an intimate setting with fans, a small live band, and their raw talent. highly recommended!

@홍차왕자-f7k I haven't heard that one but I have heard their stellar vocals :D I've seen them a few times live plus a lot of other content. It's crazy how each of them could be a main vocalist in other groups. Thanks for the heads up on the stripped version!
