Hello sir, I have a question. I apologize I didn't watch the video but I didn't see what I was looking for when I skimmed it. How can I simulate the flow coming out of the nozzle? I am interested to see how the fluid flow will be directed as it leaves the nozzle, not necessarily what happens inside it.
@orlandocastilleja
@orlandocastilleja 9 ай бұрын
Hi! You have to specify the computational domain (or the fluid subdomain) of the external fluid. This can be done by drawing a geometry that represents the surrounding air, or specifying an external flow study.

Can you solve flow in 3D pipe network at different elevations with pump in between? Examples - flow from a tank located at higher elevation through a pipe with pump in between.

Hi, thanks for a good video, however there are one thing that i am curious about: Are the values accurate as you are using Adiabatic wall? - Ref definition: "Adiabatic wall. This is a heat-insulated wall. By default all walls are skin friction surfaces. If you want the wall to be adiabatic and frictionless, you must create a boundary condition type of Ideal Wall on the appropriate faces". For me it looks like no heat transfer occurs over Adiabatic walls. I am new to this so I am just trying to learn what parameters i need to set for my own simulation. Hopefully you can clarify, in advance, thank you.
