Me encanta el contraste entre la humildad inocente de Cuasimodo y la soberbia cruel de Frollo. Cuasimodo diciendo que el es un monstruo pero que desea que ella esté pensando en el, es lo único que pide. Y Frollo diciendo que no es su culpa que fue embrujado, pero así aun “ella mía será o arderá”. La quiere poseer, no amar. Amar es buscar el bien del otro, sin fines egoístas. Cuasimodo si la amaba.

I grew up in Hawaii my whole life, and I had the honor of learning Hawaiian when I was in kindergarten even if it never stuck to me or learned enough to speak it. It was especially exciting to watch Lilo and Stitch as a school field trip at the movies and all of us as kids tried to sing along with it. I just remembered this song and decided to come back to listen to it and I'm being filled with nostalgia when I first watched LIlo and Stitch. Literally tears as I wish I could go back to being a kid.
