I stepped into a pothole while wading through an estuary. I found myself neck deep in salt water and my Oppo A53s was in my shirt's breast pocket. I immediately switched the wet phone off when I reached the other side and proceeded to tap the water out of the microphone vent and dried the phone as best as I could. I left it off and in a sunny spot in my tackle box for the entire day whilst I continued fishing. The evening I powered it back on and everything came up normally as it should. It is now a year later and the phone is still operating perfectly. I guess I was lucky

Try to charge and use that phone the next day when it is corroded. Forget about salt water it will corrode even much worse. You are giving people the misconception that this cheap phone is waterproof.
