thx for this, I have just purchased one and it's good to see someone move about on it as it is my first digi mixer, and well...I'm a little scared of it!

Hello, I also have a CQ20B. I would like to do a virtual soundcheck like you. Can you explain me how I should connect my CQ20B to my Mac on Logic Pro. For the moment I have all the tracks gathered on input 1 or 2. I recorded on 6 inputs. Thanks for your help. Best regards
@J.W-e5iАй бұрын
Do the steps explained in the manual under "send audio from DAW to CQ". Assign the USB-Output for each track in the DAW. Output channel numbers from the DAW match input channel numbers of the CQ.

Do you prefer the CQ20b to the XR18?
5 ай бұрын
The sound of the cq20b is much better than the sound of the xr. It is 100 times clearer and has better dynamics, the preamps are incomparably better in the CQ. On the other hand, the complete lack of internal routing options is a bit frustrating.

Super cool to see, the preset seems to works really well!
5 ай бұрын
yes, they can absolutely be used even in live situations. My only comment is that the low cut is a bit low and unfortunately the HPF frequency cannot be changed in the preset, you have to switch to full channel.

Hi, how is this unit with electric guitar ? Can the guitar be plugged directly into the CQ without needing an amp ?
6 ай бұрын
Yes, you can plug in your guitar directly to the mixer without DI or amp. Use inputs 15 or 16, they both are swtitchable "hi-z" inputs.

Can I split 17 and 18 as Separate Chanel’s so I can put a guitar and key
Жыл бұрын
Unforunately not. 17/18 linked channels. That is why I put OH LR on 17/18. Or you can use 17/18 to a stereo key channel maybe.

It’s crazy to think that in 1954, when this movie was produced, not released, that this song was equivalent to heavy metal or trap music. So new ans hardcore for its time. I love this movie

Naughtmoses, I got one even better. My late mother married my bio dad in 1950. He was reared in Columbus Georgia. When their marriage broke up in 1955, my mom moved to Marietta GA with my two older brothers(I haven't been born yet). One afternoon, my mother took my two older brothers to the walk in theater. She have heard that a new movie was coming . This was "Blackboard Jungle". Accordingly to my mother were in their theater sets, when this movie got started . Well of all things, this song , Bill Haley starts singing "Rock Around Clock". She then says the these teens came out of their seats and in into the aisle and starting hooping and hallowing and dancing. The theater was in a up roar.!! After about five minutes, theater came order. Just wish I could have there there with the these teens!!

By 1953, the dangerous reputation of the Teddy Boy was fed by reports of a gang fight in London in which a teenager was stabbed to death. In 1955, Teds greeted the movie Blackboard Jungle - with its opening soundtrack of Bill Haley’s Rock Around The Clock - by destroying cinemas. A thousand teenagers rioted at the Gaiety in Manchester at a showing of the film, which was eventually banned from cinemas across the country. Teds were coming to be seen as a threat to the nation’s moral fabric.

Arguably the most important 3 minutes of Bill Haley's career. This movie intro made rock around the clock the great song it was.
