But the school s compliance officer is telling every player he doesn’t really think they qualify. He and his teammates were all 2019 grads , played juco and were seniors this year.

Teacher man is complete BS. He has no clue how the body is suppose to move in order to create power. Ask the dude if he knows what the kinematic sequence is. For all you believers out there - do a little research before chirping like you know something. Tell you what - if you really want to understand power generation, bat path and swing efficiency - go look up Greg Rose and TPI (Titleist Performance Institute). That is the meca for every professional golfer. They also have a division call OnBaseU - their baseball division. They use science - not gimmicks.

There has been a lot of talk about lack of baseball IQ and how travel ball isn’t helping and/or is watered down. In our area (upstate NY) it’s really either travel ball and school ball. The travel ball programs have indoor facilities and better coaching overall which is greatly needed given the cold/snow. My point is guess is if travel ball is watered down/not ideal to develop baseball IQ - then what is recommended? I played legion ball 25 years ago and that was the thing but legion isn’t as popular now (although maybe making a small comeback).

Hey great stuff. You are one of the best at helping understand these changes and the landscape of baseball recruiting. Question. Say that a team gets to the 34 player roster in December or at the start of the season. Then they lose 4 players to injury as they practice, or even as games start, which is not far fetched. Are they stuck with 30 players for the remainder of the season? Or are they allowed to replace them, and if so from what pool of players? Any discussion on this?

If the Juco eligibility passes, will that be for a player coming straight out of high school? Or can a player who has played 1,2,3 years of division 1,2,3 sport go back and play Juco and go back and still get those years left to play divisional sports?

How do the new House Settlement rules apply to Redshirting? Do Redshirt athletes count toward the roster limit? For example, could a school give out partial scholarships to 45 athletes (staying within the 34 scholarship limit) with the intention of redshirting 9 of them to meet the 34 man limit?

38 or 108 it all ends up in a lawsuit once you cut it down to 34 roster players. Make it 38 for the entire year. Can’t bring in any extra guys at the break either. It’s killing recruiting and loyalty from both the players and coaches. Will also force coaches to actually go out and recruit and most importantly, develop the players they have.

I do like Teacherman's approach to properly turning the barrel with a snap. Aaron Judge has been able to hit well when hitting pitchers' mistakes. He fails (and looks silly) when pitchers make their pitches on the black of the plate. The same with the (formerly highly regarded Yankee prospect Spencer).
