This whole intro melts my heart completely! 😢 The artstyle, the dialogue, the story, the music...EVERYTHING! I can't help not to have tears in my eyes everytime I see this 😢 Just like the Moomintroll... Stunning, absolutely stunning! I don't remember being so touched by a video game in my life 😢

Now thinking about it I think that what Moomin says to snufkin at the end is more then him being petty but him telling snufkin how he feels Everytime he just up and leaves at random. Maybe everyone else noticed this and I'm like super dumb or not lol

Here’s something that I released Pinocchio was right in saying “none of this would happen if I was a real boy” because his nose didn’t grow so if he had his Happy Ending the fairytale creatures would have been able to stay in Dulock, Shrek would have never left his swamp, Donkey would get arrested (or maybe he won’t I don’t know), Fiona would probably never get rescued (or maybe she will by Prince Charming again I don’t know) and Farquard would still be alive all of that would happen if Pinocchio got his happy ending

There is a Moomin theme park in Naantali, Finland! Moomin is also hugely popular in Japan, hence the newer park being opened there in more recent years. There were plans for one in Sweden but the locals voted against it.

siligthly unrelated coment: i like how snormaiden's japanese name changed over the years frist in the crused 60s anime and its sequel she was caled nonnon (and was green for some reason) in the beloved 90s anime she was caled floren (that name was also used in the japanese dub of "moomins in the rivieira") but nowadays she's just know as "スノーク おじょうさん" (literal japanese translation of snorkmaiden)

Does the Japanese dub have a different soundtrack? I always thought the original song "I'm far away" by MØ was ditched in favor of an "alternative foreign theme song".
