Such a beautiful and haunting song written and performed by a criminally underrated genius. The more music you listen to, the more you grow to appreciate Yoko’s incredible enormous talent.

Very cool compilation. I love this song. This is my preferred version with the longer guitar solo.

I bought this single for 0.50€ recently, mint condition. I knew the A side, "Woman" but this song surprised me... even though Ono (an empty suit, obviously didn't wrote the song) it was worth the 50 cents of an Euro. My story. Bye bye.

George's guitar work on these early songs was pretty amazing (maybe not surprising) considering his age and the band's song choices.

Holy cow, these guys were punk before punk! I thought their later songs from The White Album and Abbey Road were heavy, but this in 1962 is just crazy.

I like how they did alotta standards . Shows versatility. Because they could rip into rock&roll . Then in the same breath could tear into a standard . Then r&b . Then c&w . The sort of musician every musician should aspire to be

Say for a guy to at least be the bridge to get them between being able to satisfy their their contracts in Hamburg and to be able to get into a studio even if he didn't play he at least got them to that position. I still think they so they looked happy and they look like great guys they were missing one thing they should have given this guy his due once they made their first contract should have at least aopeased him and giving him something to let him know his worth and their history.

The Beatles sued many times to prevent the release of these recordings. It's not just the money or poor audio; they were not happy to be back in Hamburg, and their playing was poor. They were drinking a lot, and shared the stage with other musicians and even some of the waiters. I don't think the performances are that bad, and I'd love to hear an A.I. restored version.
