I was there! It was 10 times experience-wise the previous show I saw at Mullins Center that spring. Pretty amazing times. Trey was a force of nature. That tone! The whole band was functioning as a unit. (edit: yes Gamehenge) It was just uniquely rocking and mind blowing to my 17 yd old brain at the time. We camped somewhere after the show, that was a bit wild.

The great thing about this show was that many of us had no idea what Gamehenge was. We knew some of the songs but not the story. I remember seeing a “follow me to gamehenge” bumper sticker the week before at Old Orchard Beach and wondering what it meant. This show is definitely top 3 live for me. So great to have it recorded to watch again!

Perhaps the greatest phish show of all time but the woods were even greater the secret set nature jam at Mondegreen rivals this and even Riverport Gin. Yes I dare blaspheme and say that. The secret set was THAT level Monet art

The ending of Lizards to me encapsulates all the magic that is Phish. That melody that builds dynamically to a raging crash of sound is the epitome of their music. Trey has a few of these moments and they're all insanely beautiful.....he's really come up with some legendary motifs, often not even complex just melodically perfect. Divided Sky, Horn...but Lizards is my favorite, that ending could last an hour and it doesn't get old

It's ridiculous how good this is...there will never be another band like this. And 94 is the watermark IMO, like HST wave speech. Glad I was able to witness it numerous times, it's made an impact on my life

So, I was there and it was most definitely a top phish experience. Can’t remember how long after the show it was but I remember the day I got the tapes of this show. The story I got from the girl who gave me the tapes was that her cousin or some relative had stealth recorded it. The mics were taped to his glasses (?). The funny thing was, someone asked him the name of Lizards when they started playing it. Dude says, “Can’t remember the name but it’s from ‘The Jungle Book’.” And he was dead serious. Anyway, thanks for taping.
