Can someone clarify #2: Are we rest/walking the last 200m of the 400m? or is that 200m after a complete 400m? Thanks

Sir I'm trying to get my 1.5 in sub-10:30. I can't seem to run a sub-7 mile. I've only been training for about a week and a half n I get damn close to breaking the 7 minute mark but I just don't seem to have that ability. I could push harder for sure, I've built my endurance up much higher than when I first started. My concern is health affects from running in heat and smoke, usually if I push too hard I get woozy, throw up, and my lungs n throat get tore up by the smoke n that's no good y'know?

hey great video advice I have a pt test for the police academy a 1.5 miles in 16min I go power walking three days a week and light jogs in between. I'm 300lbs solid not sloppy not about 6'1 I don't necessary get tired at all but I'm trying to get this 1.5 between 14 to 15 flat. I've been fasting eating more fruits and I been drinking plenty water so that's not a problem. is there any other tips you can throw my way to help.

Great advice! The math is perfect 2:30+2:30=5:00, so it goes 2:30+2:30=5:00, which is 10:00. Add 2:30+2:30=5:00 which is the last half mile. Thus he is right, if you set a pace of two minutes and thirty seconds after 6 quarter miles you will be at 15:00 minutes.
