Very thankful for this video ... this brace worked perfect ,,, I had 5 different mechanics try to tell me I needed a clutch replacement , or the bracket and master and slave cylinder ,,,,they had no idea ,,, not to mention they wanted to charge me $1200 to $2800 but would not warrantee that it would fix the problem.... Thank you so much... I ordered the brace and knocked it out in 0ne hour ,,, it shifts like butter now......$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$💪💪💪🤜👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hi, just a quick question? I have a 08 civic si. For the temp gauge it’s normal and on hondata ect 1 normally shows 183. Ect 2 start low but not even 1 second in to traffic the ect will be jumping from say 95 gradually reaching 150, 160 and minute later is looking like ect 1 looking at 184 punching ect to go to 190s making the fans come on. I see ect 2 not sustaining like normal. So my question is I added a autozone water pump but will put the oem back after this would this be the cause of the problem you believe? And also say on another note, if it feels hot in the cabin like very hot would his be the issue also? Because the pump is not circulating water correctly. I already have a new thermostat, radiator cap OEM so I can’t seen to find/see anything to be wrong. Please help?

I don't think I'm following how to adjust the stopper. you want it adjusted so that as soon as you start releasing the pedal, the clutch starts engaging? like 1mm off the pedal fully depressed, you want the clutch to already be engaging?

you might need a slightly longer belt because MDP has added a pulley. but most of the time, the original belt would fit, just tight.

So you could sit the plate where it goes inside, trace the square, then cut it out, and mark your drill holes at the same time? Pretty much do it all inside the vehicle if you don't have a lift.

Prob more difficult for a left hander because of the angle but got it in and done. It definitely stops the movement. My bracket wasnt cracked or broken but the pedal clicked and def moved when you depressed it. This made a significant difference no more noise or movement. thanks!.
