i bought this buffer. i think it sucks, its too slow and takes for ever to fully polish the surface. I have been cutting and buffing panels for 15 plus years. don't make the mistake i made buying this. dynabrade makes good da's hands down. this polisher blows. wish i could get my $500 back. Flex is good if your looking for a geared DA polisher. I havent tried the Rupes geared one but it i could do it over i would try the rupes

I have two company vans that we are removing the lettering to put up for sale. The small wheel on the drill works, but it is messy and tedious. Our vans are lettered very large. I thought the price was a little high for the tool, but if it saves me the amount of time that it looks like it will, it will be a good long-term investment tool. I will follow up after we use the tool on the vans to remove the lettering. By the way, our vans are diesel vans that are 16 and 17 years old.

The problem with this tool is the price. Make it a reasonable price and more people will buy. People have two options right now. A $10 wheel strapped to their cordless drill. Or spend hundreds of dollars on your very specific tool.
@DynabradeInc2 ай бұрын
We appreciate your feedback! Our tools are designed for professional-grade performance, durability, and precision, which is reflected in the price. While cordless drill options may be cheaper, our tool provides long-term value with specialized features that can greatly improve productivity and results for serious users. Thanks for sharing your thoughts-we're always considering ways to deliver the best value to our customers! 👍

@@DynabradeInc Thank you for your reply. I have already had the opportunity to test the machine. After more than 20 years in this business, I still had an eccentric polisher with a forced drive that I could work with in this way. I would therefore very much appreciate it if the machine is still available this season. Unfortunately, it will be too late from September or October. In any case, I will be the first to take a close look at and test the Dynabrade DB 8, as I did with the Flex PXE in 2019. Of course, I will upload the corresponding videos and report back.

@btbd2785 Жыл бұрын
@Pty-gk2vb Yup, what you just described is a Forced Rotation Polisher! So basically, what this polisher is as well as what the Flex 3401 VRG is. I am just wondering why they chose to use such a small throw. 6.8mm vs a normal 8mm. I am just wondering how long it would take just to do some normal paint corrections like scratches, swirls etc..

Can this cut as much as the Flex 3401? What is the highest OPM speed setting?
@DynabradeInc Жыл бұрын
The DB8 has a thumb controlled variable speed-dial offers eleven speed selection options from 150 to 350 OPM. After using and testing the DB8 in many scenarios with many different users, we believe it is in line with (and in our bias even better) the Flex.

For using narrow belts are you able to cut 1/2 inch width belts to size?
@DynabradeInc2 жыл бұрын
If you have the correct tools to cut your abrasive, then yes you can cut the belt to the size you need. We do also supply smaller width belts. For the original Dynafile (14000) we recommend the 11219 or 11232 contact arm to run the smaller width belts.

@DynabradeInc3 жыл бұрын
The Silver Supreme has been discontinued. If you were purchasing from someone who still has stock of the 6" Silver Supreme, it would not come with a hook and loop pad. It came with a 6" non-vacuum vinyl face (PSA) pad. I would recommend looking at our 6" Extreme sander, X61H. That sander comes with a hook-face pad.
