Also very many other items including his sword and his portrait. His foster brother was General Lafayette and I also have gifts from him. The Orlando Sports Stadium was disgusting. It smelled like beer and urine, and that's before you even went in the bathrooms. The bathrooms would make you puke. Not surprised it got closed down because of code violations.

The Sports Stadium was a blessing to East Orange County kids who got to see the best of the best bands in our own backyard! First concert I went to in 1970 was opened by some new guy named Bob Seger. I was hooked and got to see all the coolest bands for less than 5 bucks. Except Led Zeppelin who charged 6. Too bad it's history now.

I worked on the mainland across from the island for many years. The natural gas pipeline to supply the new electric generator passed through our companys land. I always wanted to visit the island, but never got the chance.

They used to have horse races, and then car races.. We used to swim out to the island.

Scolari and Bob Davies were the two best PGs before Bob Cousy. Scolari is mostly forgotten now but he was really good and the 2nd best player on those great 40's Washington Capitols teams.

A kind tribute, thank you, I love this. Just two things -- I don't believe he was ever onscreen in Pete Kelly's Blues; his horn playing was featured throughout (anytime Jack Webb was 'playing', it was Dad)... and at one point you have a picture of the great Rocky Rockwell (another fabulous horn player from the Welk band of course). I love that you made this, thank you for remembering my father.

Why did these sickos want 11 special needs children if they weren't going to love them? What was their motivation? Money? Do you get paid good money for fostering? Did they really think they wouldn't get caught out and sent to prison keeping the children in cages without mattresses?

WTF!!! Two years...those poor babies will never be the same. Police should have been called immediately...RAIDS should have taken place immediately. In the THREE YEARS it took for someone to do something to help these poor babies some of them could have died. You can't treat a dog like that and get away with it.
