Thank you for this tutorial. I just bought the die but there is no video on IO Stamps's website. I had petal placement correct per your demonstration, but your forming was so helpful.😊

Why when i use a clear blender alcohol marker to blend my prismacolor pencils i get puddles of waxy color in spots?
@dinakowalcreative
@dinakowalcreative 7 ай бұрын
Is your marker blurping? Sometimes it helps to remove the cap from the other end of the marker to equalize the pressure inside.
@tiffanieainley572
@tiffanieainley572 7 ай бұрын
@@dinakowalcreative I don't know what that means. I know quite a bit comes out.
@dinakowalcreative
@dinakowalcreative 7 ай бұрын
@@tiffanieainley572 your marker shouldn't be spilling fluid out. Assuming it's a double ended marker, removing both caps while you blend will keep that spillage from happening.

Thank you for the help, Da Vinci brushes are wonderful brushes, like magical. I found Da Vinci Nova, series 1670, size 2 or 4 but not size 3. I got 2 Da Vinci Nova brushes, series 1670, size 8 and size 28, they are the best watercolor- and acrylic brushes that I have ever owned. O boy, I bought a lot of brushes, both watercolor and acrylic paint brushes, that are so bad, not usable and this jungle seeking is so expensive. Too many artist buy Silver Black Velvet brushes, and claim that this brand is the best, but good to know they are too soft to hold a point. Da Vinci Nova brushes hold a lot of water, enough water for me, but I do not know, if they hold a point in acrylic painting. I am going to test my DV brushes re. holding a point. I am so glad to watch your video test, Dina.

The Da Vinci Nova 1570 size No6, is the first brush I got with my first set of watercolors a couple of days ago. I'm glad it isn't as a poor performer as I thought, because of the low price!!

My bicone bead ends up looking like a cone bead. At some point do you move from the center toward the end of the bead?
@dinakowalcreative
@dinakowalcreative 3 жыл бұрын
You'll keep the tip centered for the bicone bead so the fullest part is centered as well - moving from the center is what gives you the cone or teardrop.

My preferred method is straight pencil blending. But I really liked seeing all the methods. I think I would choose mineral spirits over the baby oil if I were to blend that way.
