Yep. Engaging forward or reverse while the engine idles will tear up a crankcase quickly.

The non standard wafer thin flywheel, the huge carburettor substitute, perhaps throttle body allows extra air flow. Shame there aren't a full set of expansion chambers poking out the form back. A worthy quest for horsepower.

@@roberthall9084 there build too rev 8000 rpm to 10000rpm and the power band doesn't come on untill after 5000 rpm on something like this ( totally normal use ) and it is a constant load engine and a two stroke there build from factory to hold 6000rpm all day 😎

2-strokes still exist not in outboards anymore sadly but my brother has a 2021 Polaris Indy XC 850 with a 2-stroke in it

3.3l omc probably originally an 225hp venom or oceanpro Evinrude. But that is now race heads, flywheel, pistons, Conrad's, exhaust tunner, 15" drystack mid with exhaust outlet and EFI with slide intakes and plastic reeds

@@rfree82 yes sorry this would be a 3.0l it didn't get 3.3l untill the ficht and 3.4l as the etec and the V8 is 3.5l or 3.6l
