I worry about the reliability and standard of service. MG cars have a poor rating to date. I have a Jazz for this reason and for the superior space for rear passengers. Yes I had to pay a lot more, but I think it's worth every bit of the extra.

If you are accustomed to using ICEs, it might give you a more familiar experience, but as I heard, this fun car delivers even more performance, when not using fake gear switching. It might simply be something you need to learn to appreciate over time probably? To me vegetarian food which is formed into something which looks like a chicken e.g. is weird. I always love to get the original experience. And I'm somewhat older with about the same hair style. Btw.: Love your accent. Also genuine. Sometimes challenging for a non native speaker though. Unfortunately your microphone cuts some of the orignal voice. It sounds slightly muffled.
@DylansCarReviews4 күн бұрын
Hi! Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts. I agree that the fake gears and sounds help ICE drivers transition smoothly. Like you say, it's not a typical EV experience. Switching everything to normal mode makes the 5 N feel boring after driving like a maniac! It will take time to adjust and get people to trust electric vehicles. I enjoy them now that I've tested a few. Sorry for the audio. I can't help my strong Scottish accent, but my next investment is in a better microphone. Hopefully that will make it clearer :)

I have the previous model SZ5 Mild Hybrid with 1.0L 3 cyl Boosterjet Engine which has 109bhp. Got to say very underwhelmed by the new model, it just looks lie a facelift of my car. Slightly different at the front, and the tail lamps slightly different as well. Interior is almost identical apart from the larger infotainment screen. Overall the car is not that much different. The main disappointment is the engine only delivering a measly 81bhp, don't get me wrong I love my Swift, but to release a new model almost identical with a lesser powered engine that is so much slower is a backwards step by Suzuki. BTW having now had a test drive in the new model a few weeks back can confirm it is like a snail on valium compared to The 1.0 SZ5 Boosterjet Engine, I was actually shocked at how much slower it was. Again I absolutely love my current Swift as it has everything, but current owners will be massively put off by a ridiculous loss in performance of a so called new model, and many current Swift owners like myself will not purchase this 'clone' of the previous model with a woefully underpowered engine. That being said I would not put anyone off buying this model if they are thinking of switching to Suzuki Swift, they are brilliant cars, but again the loss of performance is a massive minus.
@DylansCarReviews16 күн бұрын
Hi Killian, thanks for watching and for sharing your experience as an owner. It does seem a bit backwards to make a car less powerful. I imagine there is a lot of data to back up that decision, as I know Suzuki genuinely listen to their customers. It's a shame you still felt the same after a test drive, especially since you're enjoy your current model so much! Do you think you'll keep it for longer now, or will you be looking at another brand soon?

@@DylansCarReviews Hi Dylan, thanks for reply. I certainly would not put off anyone buying the new Swift, Suzukis are brilliant cars, I was just making the point that it seemed a backward step regarding the performance of the engine.
