Is it safe to diffuse around cats? I love diffusing but don’t for fear of harming them.

That's a good question! I'll be honest, I am not knowledgable enough to say whether it's safe to use around cats or not. I know some EOs are not safe or recommended around pets.

Worked 40+ years for a lawn Mower MFG that was bought out by B&S, one day we got a shipment in our Ga. warehouse straight from the Savannah port, we opened the trailer door and there was OVER 5 well known U.S. brand names on the boxes of ALL generators, and the kicker was they ALL came out of the same MFG plant in CHINA

Hi my name is Tammy I am a foster mom looking for a mattress protector or cover to protect the mattresses I am getting ready to get rid of the toddler beds I am thinking of doing bunk beds what is your opinion about bunk beds do you recommend them ❤😂❤😂 the grils share a bed romm
@rosemarypope.author
@rosemarypope.author Ай бұрын
Hey Tammy! I've had bunk beds and hated them.... Mainly just hated changing the sheets or making the bed. They're great at saving space, though. If making the beds is a concern of yours, I'd consider looking into something like Beddy's. It's kind of like a sleeping bag that fits over the mattress. Another option would be to cover the mattresses like normal with the protector and fitted sheet, then just fold the blanket up and place at the end of the bed. It still looks nice and put together while keeping things simple.

My 18KW Generac ran great for 11 days during Beryl and we had family and friends stay with us to get out of the heat. Shut down daily for an hour to check oil level and did an oil change along with oil and air filters. Very easy. I buy oil change kits on Amazon that have filters and spark plugs. Also keep several quarts of oil. Four others near us have Generacs and they all performed well too.

Great review! There is one thing I would like to tell you: the white dots on the end of the pigtails do have paint on them (at least on mine) so if you have had one for a long while the paint does start to peel off a bit, but otherwise you'll be fine. If you're concerned about the paint or it starts deteriorating you could get someone to replace the pigtail spots with the same fabric as the head, only white, or sew it in yourself if you know how to :)

Thank you for your input! It took me a few days to repsond because I had to find my daughter's toadette. You are right, the white dots on the ends are painted... or maybe some sort of vinyl. Her's is not cracking, though. She's had it about 7 months now and it has never been washed.

I have a 22kW Generac powered by NG. It’s able to power both our 5 ton and 3 ton air conditioners and all our lights. It’s worked every time we’ve needed it. I love it.

Wow, considering the Generac has less power on NG than propane “ive heard”, thats impressive. We had a 22kw at our house we moved from on propane, and had a 5 ton a/c. First time it got used, and the a/c came on, it bogged down the generator so much bout shut off the engine, installer put on a hart start on the a/c and didnt have anymore issues. We moved from there bout 3 years ago and got another 22kw Generac, but hooked up to NG, and we have a 3 1/2 a/c and didnt need to put anything on it, Generac runs it fine when the a/c kicks on
@rupe53
@rupe53 Ай бұрын
@@JCourts2k23 yes, there is less power available from NG than propane by about 5%-10% depending on local fuels. Some older AC units may draw a bit too much power and need that hard-start kit. The newer Generac transfer switches also have a load-shed system built in that can delay the AC for 3 minutes, so the entire house is not starting all at once, which is usually the main issue.
@JCourts2k23
@JCourts2k23 Ай бұрын
@@rupe53 we had the air conditioner installed in 2022, when the original to the house needed to be replaced and quit working. I asked the air conditioning company multiple times if I needed anything because of the generator, they said I didn't, said they asked their generator guy. So I went on their word, they know more about this stuff than I do. They said the newer AC units really don't need a soft/hard start
@rupe53
@rupe53 Ай бұрын
@@JCourts2k23 yes, many of the newer AC units draw less on start and have built in delays already, but I wouldn't take the opinion of an AC guy on what's needed to do a smooth transition with a gen set. They just don't know the limitations. I happen to be in a unique situation where I spent 10 years in HVAC before going into the gen industry. I have answers for questions that most haven't even thought of. IOW, I was the guy who went to the job when nobody else could figure out or duplicate an intermittent issue.

I'm here in Baytown Tx, and we are currently without power due to Hurricane Beryl. My 22kw Generac has been running since Monday morning July 8th. We aren't expected to get power back until Tuesday, July 16th. The Generac has been running perfectly. I did shut it down today and changed the oil & filter, and the air filter. We are very happy with our Generac, it's given us peace of mind and it well worth the investment.
