Love this bike! Wonder what it weighs? Original '85 LT250R was 293lbs. This has the heavier zilla engine, but looks like Q lightened up quite a few other things. Looks like a feather! Bet this think screams out of the hole!

That's a beast. Any idea on top speed? Looks much faster than mine and the other 3 I seen in person.

How much frame work is needed to fit the 500 and that pipe?

That cars awesome, but flooring it then just shutting it off will eventually put gas in your oil and ruin bearings ect..

You can really see the birth of the Banchee's look with this bike. It's really weird cause their Trike was not very popular during that time it was rare to see one on the dunes . What Yamaha was able to do during that time is mind blowing from the TriZ to the Banchee is night an day .. It changed the playground that's for sure. .. Hearing a Banchee for the first time back then was other worldly, just a wicked sound.

I recently purchased one of the quadzillas and it kicks back so violently when trying to start it and I have started the big bore bikes I own a cr500 and its never done anything like this Suzuki is doing does anyone have any ideas ?

Wish u lived in oregon!!!!! Just want my zilla reliable!!! Been rebuilt 2 times bye well know shops in my area and both times on sand dunes zilla blew up about 8 rides later!! Keeps ceasing up!!! I want it rebuilt one more time and jetted correctly because obviously something isn't correct!!! My mind is blown

Those gauges are very unreliable. There's a video of a guy on a simple bolt on 660 Raptor saying he went 116mph. The cell phones app speedo's are much more accurate.

Nice Video dude. Thanks. In May of 1975 a month before High School Graduation. I bought this exact bike, same color 1974 brand new from my local dealer. If I recall they called the color Magenta. It was on the show room floor and of course a left over from the previous year 1974 model. I paid $900.00 all my own cash. My girl friend who is now still my wife and I had many good times with the cycle. Chrome fenders, dual exhaust and of course kick start back in the day. Something you not see anymore. Wish I would have held onto it. Went to Honda 550 and then a 750 for years. Switched to Harleys about 20 years ago and still ride.
