FYI....The Velcro used was one that sticks to itself. 🇨🇦

Glad you enjoyed it. Since I made the video, I have begun using elastic to tie around the dog's legs instead of velcro and find it easier.

Thank you for your demonstration!. If you don’t want to lose the booties, just attach a string in each pair, long enough to go on top of the dogs back, kind of what we do for small kids not to lose their gloves 🧤❤️

That’s really cute but I prefer crocheting my booties for my cat. I did 1 so far and it’s super cute.

Is that for going outside in the cold? Or just for fun?

First booty video that's actually very helpful, thank you 👍 ...is this fleece waterproof ?? ...oh, it is rather thick...

Hi! No, they are not waterproof. But if they get wet from the wet snow, they don't take long to dry. I now use a piece of elastic instead of velcro -- just tie it in the same place as the velcro was.

I have gone through a number of different booties without success. My dogs have very tiny feet which makes it very difficult to get them on as well. Today, I decided to try regular baby socks for one of my dogs. They stayed on for the most part and much easier to get on. I will use some of your ideas to modify them and add some rubber bottoms. Thank you for the video.

You could use left over Jean's material on the bottom too

Great video, I live in the UK and my boy (dog) paws goes red and inflamed due to the grass and I have been searching online for dog boots. But now I am heading out to pick some up and wrap it around his baby socks that I have for him.

Very excited about trying this out. It's our first Minnesota winter with our dog and has had some trouble getting the icy snow in his paws. Your video is much appreciated!

I'm trying to make some for my dog because we've just moved into a newly renovated home with timber floors and the owners said we couldn't have our dog because he would scratch the floor. They said we could buy some booties for him so I'm trying to make some without them slipping off!

Yes, those ice balls really make our doggies uncomfortable and sometimes in real pain. These booties have worked just great to prevent this from happening. Let me know how it works for you!

Thanks for making this video. I have a Lab who isn't bothered by the snow but now I have a Lab/Wirehaired Pointing Griffon cross whose feet are hairy and under certain conditions he gets awful ice balls and can barely limp home. I have scraps of fleece that I wouldn't have even thought of using but I can do this!

No, they don't wear out quickly at all! I used the same ones for years. Of course, he was usually walking on snow, so it wasn't very rough.

dog is really cute ! I live in Lithuania where winters are pretty rough (goes below -25C) and my mastiff cannot walk outside because his feet are hurting and freezing, lm going to make similar shoes for him aswell, maybe with a little cut out for the nails (so he wouldnt slip on the ice) ;)
