Tip for you when u try it print it off small before going life size, building small first gets u used to the template, its easier to assemble and then helps u to grasp the build ready to go bigger.

Hello Chris it’s done on purpose as I encourage self expression instead of teaching my students to copy others work as so commonly done these days. As the video states the small details are left for you to decide but the main structure of the whale is assembled and completed. This ensures that the sculpture you build will be unique like the person you are. The mouth is just a cut in the clay the eyes I made with the eye stamp but you decide how u make your own eyes 👀 the lines on the belly are just drawn in with a blunt tool. It’s a beginner build with some simple details left to the imagination.
