Grew up in Woodside Queens and remember sporting the fat laces of my Adidas. Was attending Brooklyn Tech when this came out. But got out city at 16 or so with my Sharp GF-777 intact, lol.

Came upon them by accident and have been watching/listening every day. Also a child of the 60's-70's. Lived at the Fillmore- Hendrix-Zeppelin-Cream-Who Woodstock etc. Also saw the Heavy Metal groups as well.. I Have not wanted to listen to songs repeatedly on a daily basis since I saw/listened to LoveBites for the first time. Just rock/metal artists to the max-impeccable playing-NEVER a note gone astray-hard driving music with a purpose and incredible orchestrations. "Tommy" of course was a rock opera but every now and then-epecially during Frozen Serenade -the feel of that music comes up just a bit. Really enjoying this group!

We will all approach and interpret Life differently. That's what makes each one of us unique. I for one am a medical professional, so I am certain that I interpreted this much differently than others. All that matters is that by the end of the message, hopefully we all felt the same. Human beings....

Fall Out Boy have been such an important band to me for a large part of my life, and it makes me so happy to see people being formally introduced to their incredible body of work. Their recent stuff really shows how far they've come as artists, and the whole album this song comes from (So Much (For) Stardust) is an absolute masterpiece! ❤️

It’s so hard doing this and I commend you for being honest and releasing this video. It took me a couple years to be able to even listen to One More Light after he passed because I couldn’t handle the raw emotion that came with it.

You're over-analyzing the music & seeing/hearing it from within a box. This song you are reviewing is not by Anthrax or by Slayer. It's by BABYMETAL, hence the name. It's a different genre of music that merges Pop Music & Metal, which is called "Kawai Metal." It's like analyzing Rock 'N' Roll music when its style was first heard. Rock 'N' Roll is a hybrid of Blues, Gospel, R&B & Country and you'd be sitting there saying its not Blues or it's not R&B. And it's not. It's Rock 'N' Roll music just like BABYMETAL is not "Metal" music. It's Kawai Metal. "The group was formed in 2010 as a subgroup of Sakura Gakuin, under the vision of producer and longtime metal fan Key “Kobametal” Kobayashi. In an interview with magazine Metal Hammer in 2014, Kobayashi explains the impetus for his fusion of the ever-popular idol genre with the less-accessible timbre of metal music. “Metal is only getting older and older and the scene isn’t getting bigger anymore. I started thinking that I wanted to come up with something new, something that no one has ever done before, and that’s where Babymetal came from. The idea really just fell from the heavens,” Kobayashi said. What Kobayashi did was put three teenage girls involved in a pop music & merged them with metal musicians called the Kami Band. Kobayashi created a new complete genre of music & has been successful for over a decade now, globally. Jeff Walker, bassist and vocalist of London death metal group Carcass, sung Babymetal’s praise after seeing them perform in 2014 at Sonisphere. “It puts a smile on people’s faces. That’s what music’s about, isn’t it?! Enjoying it and not being so serious.”
