In light of recent antics of female Prison guards they should be constantly accompanied by a male guard or just kept guarding female prisons.

Why is it when offenders are released they come out with no life skills. Or employable skills, and it's down to their probation officers to help them into employment. 🤔.

uniform needs updating to cargos and polos. Update your procedure regarding lone working and you should also rotate staff to prevent professional boundaries being corrupted.

Not sure if a female prison officer should be body searching a male inmate, would it be allowed vice versa? Or am I missing something.

That has to be one of the worst rub downs I’ve ever witnessed. The amount of prisoners moving from A 2 B can be crazy, but, at the same time the task must be done correctly but with speed, which can be done. Getting promoted after only 18 months is mental. It used to be at least four years before even applying for the post. How times change when the system is soo stretched. I, and my family are so lucky that I was able to walk out of those gates after hanging my keys up for the last time. I’ve witnessed incidents you would only expect to see in your nightmares, and dealt with some individuals who were lower than a snakes bollocks. Would I recommend a walk on the wild side to anyone… I think not. I was ex military when I joined the service in 1987 under Pre FreshStart rules, (retiring officially on a full pension at age 55 in 2017) the regime when I began being very similar to that of the comedy series Porridge, ending up being a different kind of war zone to my military days by the time I’d come to retirement; very different indeed. 💂♂️🏴🇬🇧

🌸 I am so glad they get work and time to learn skill, rebuild their confidence, working on something also gives them a sense of pride in job well done I hope counselling is available for ones that need it and courses are available for them to grow and expand their mind, experiences It’s so sad when they go in at at 19 and exit as an old person Just watched lady that went in at 22 yrs and left age 55 yrs She was crying and was using a walking stick I hope such videos can be used as deterrent tool for young offenders

What sort of idiot wears a prison uniform traveling to or from work ? Absolutely a no no from both a hygiene and security standpoint. Being allowed to even apply for promotion let alone get it after 18 months speaks volumes about the shit show that the prison service in England has become
