I’ve been in prison lol and this isn’t what goes on really at all and I’m not sure this woman is really an officer😢. Most of the younger girls flirt with the bad boys types and are smoking and drinking in their cells after lights out and some screws go for breaks. Some of it is finally coming out just how ridiculous that system really is and is in dire need of reform itself let alone prisoners. I was in 8 months and I vowed never again will I end up inside one. Horrible place not because of violent offenders but the corruption and cohesion between law and prisoners is staggering.

Some (if not) most inmates don't fight fair in prison. Rushing (running into) people's cells in groups ambushing another can be a scary situation. Some people with (nothing to lose sentences, normally Life) can turn a fight into something much more deadly with a homemade weapon. In some areas of the English/Welsh prison system there tends to be a lot of (not everyone) ethnic minorities with no real hope, no real education and that street mentality that runs in the prisons (and on the street). Literally no rehabilitation other than locked up in cells or doing slave-like workshops that offer no transferable skills or doing tick-box generic sentence plan. Some stupid people who've made mistakes and those who've committed the very serious and heinous crimes with real victims. Spending many years/decades in prison is a waste, but for some it's almost a sense of belonging because they don't know how to live life properly or they are institutionalized. White boys acting/speaking like they're one of the brothers to survive on the wing is sad.

Could have used a wing like that in my younger days. Adhd is impossible to manage well in a typical prison setting. Mind you when I was HMP'd they seemed hell-bent on closing down any special programmes. Especially HMP based Drug Therapeutic Communities. I enrolled in one in 2002 after years of recidivism and haven't been back in 20 years. Bit silly removing funding for special programmes that actually work. Imo

Ha. ive just done two years inside and ive been out for 12 weeks and im wanted on recall for suspicion of criminal activity. I.e emergency recall. For some context. ive recently obtained an apprenticeship in professional cooking and was half way up to setting up a business for weekends. These parasites do not rehabilitate lives they destroy them. I have spent over 7000 in rent over two years to be told i cant go back home because of a exclusion zone on the day of my release. Ive lived in a tent stuck to my conditions ive got myself a decent career path to then be issued a recall to prison warrant for simply challanging their position on my housing. Probation officers are parasites. Well, its 3 months into my warrant and im enjoying the sun instead of a prison cell. Why should i surrender when ive done nothing wrong. Two years has changed me for the better. now all i want to do is walk into that office with a rpg. Fucking criminal mate. Dont sit and make out your there to help people your all power tripped idiots who couldnt get into the police.
