Minimum income, do you mean minimum wage? This just causes inflation which raises prices. Food is very cheap, cheaper than it has ever been. Perhaps you are confusing food with prepackaged luxury goods. Water is almost free, yet people buy water in bottles or in fruit juices, flavoured milks, sugar drinks. Water is food, the rest are not. The answer isnt minimum wage, let people make their own choices. If they choose unwisely then let them suffer. Most will figure it out. Let those who do not be the incentive for the rest.

Hi The Booking Club podcast, great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.

As an American living in Europe, I don’t understand how anyone can say we need to move past classical liberalism because it’s never actually existed here. Modern liberalism is the real source of most of the problems in Europe right now. I agree that we need to move past modern liberalism, but postliberalism doesn’t offer the right solutions. Take Britain, for example. Pabst talks like liberalism is thriving there, but this is a country where you can be arrested for a Facebook post. That’s not liberalism-it’s authoritarianism wrapped in progressive language. Postliberalism seems to suggest more state control to restore the so-called ‘common good,’ but that doesn’t address the underlying issues we’re facing. The real answer is a conservative classical liberalism: one that protects individual freedoms-both social and economic-but at the same time encourages the values that actually hold society together, like family, community, and church. Freedom and responsibility can coexist. The state shouldn’t be imposing morality, but it also shouldn’t be undermining it.

I think the point about women's soft power, held through social networks that leave little trace in the historical record, is very well made. Look around, it's still happening now. One of the many glitches in modern M/F relationships is that women want all the overt powers of men, while still retaining all the soft power that hums in the background. It's an unworkable 'heads I win, tails you lose' dynamic.

Well done on the documentary. It was really good ❤ Miranda enjoyed all this. He is a total psychopath. I don't believe he has any illness. The mask and wheelchair is to make him look ill.

It's impossible to be a feminist in a conservative at the same time. The goal of feminism is to destroy stop the institution of marriage and family and elevate women above men. It isn't possible to be a good human being and be a feminist at the same time. Feminism needs to be rejected and denounced. Not have excuses made for it. This woman is a hypocrite, and has nothing to offer.Accept excuses for feminism.

What makes you think such repetitive background "music" will bring you listeners? It drives me away. I expect it will drive other listeners away. Also: If you must play intro music please limit it to 10 seconds at most.

I have always said this is a socially liberal country with strong right wing economic principles. Hence, since 'it's the economy stupid', the tories win 75% of the time and only lose when they go too far right socially or are in power so long they get complacent and lose the plot. Hence, we kicked out the tories and labour snuck in by default. They weren't elected and have no mandate. For most of us, their marxist economic policies are deeply terrifying and it's my great hope that as soon as the tories are back on their feet, we can remove these lunatics from government. The damage the will do in the mean time however is deeply worrying.

Wouldn't mandatory accounting in high schools help. Adam Smith wrote "read, write and account" multiple times in Wealth of Nations. He used the word 'education' Eighty Times. His book is free on the Internet now.
