You guy/gals need to do better. I say this with full respect, but also because the manufactures you sell this tech out to do a horrible job of providing clear instruction/videos on how to pack a device meant to save lives together. In this video the bag is already folded but your own instructions suggest unfolding the bag before attaching cord, inflator, and bottle. This video misses some key points on the position of things against the gray strap, and the “do not twist” instructions. I was hoping a video would somewhat explain the totally confusing difference between figure 3 and 4 in your instruction. I think I get it but.. damn it.. make it extra clear in video please. It would be the worst that someone dies over this because time wasn’t spent lining up to the included instructions. This is a little like packing my own parachute.. help me get it 100% right please.

wouldn't it be nice if at 2:12 you're actually showing a cartridge detail with the o-ring not visible anymore and how it should be properly fixed in the Venturi valve?

Most BS in packing the airbag back into the pocket. ABS is much! easier to handle!

it seems that they won't last very long... after the first day of wearing, a trace of weakness of the upper net has already appeared in the area where it flexes.

Hey Mammut, after I have screwed the cartridge in fully, is it possible to unscrew it? I have the removable airbag system (which I saw the video about), but I assume you are just able to unscrew that as well after it has been attached? So i dont need to carry it around in summer :) Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I'd expect you can... But I'd recommend using a cheaper day pack. The sunlight WILL age the fabric, bleaching it, and eventually weaking it. Better to wear a $20 pack instead...

Is it a single rope divided by 2 different patterns or is a pack of 2 ropes?
@Sendboi2 жыл бұрын
Dual pattern, one rope
@BrianKoralewski Жыл бұрын
It's a single rope, with 2 separate patterns, making it easy to find the middle.

You guys should release a longer more in depth review of this bag or send it off to some youtubers to review. I cannot find a comprehensive review and feature list anywhere.

In a few words why would someone go aluminum versus carbon? Is there one superior to the other (price aside) maybe aluminum is overall less likely to break?
@scubacro5758 Жыл бұрын
Carbon is much stronger than aluminium if something brakes it will be aluminium, its also 40% lighter than aluminium. Carbon - lighter, stronger, but more expensive Al - heavier, more fragile, but cheaper I don't know how much this answer will help you after two years of them not answering you, maybe it will help someone who has the same question
