Gorgeous work Emily. The smoothness and richness in the sky is incredible. I love how you framed it, so that the mountains are lower; it really expands the scope and feel of the sky.

I love it!! For some reason this reminds me of making paper when I was a kid. I think there was some flowiness and a marble-y pattern during the process. This is beautiful!! Love the contrast.

BEAUTIFUL Are you using water or alcohol to watercolor your inks on your ties? How do you set your colors in the ties? Thank you for sharing this great video... HINT: If you'll change the NAME of your title and START with Ties first... You'll get more views... Example... Silk Ties custom watercolor effect

Thank you so much Judi, that’s a great tip! I use alcohol and water both, and I set the colors with heat (ironing in this case) 😁

@@EmilyScottArtist I learned using the Aloe Vera on a video where a woman was painting on Quilts with Ink-Tence Pencils... its good to get into detailed small spaces... You can put very little Aloe Vera Gel and the ink pencils are so cool to use... So you can use Alcohol, Aloe Vera, and/or Water.... I love your Ties... Do you have a place where we can Buy your Ties ???

Love the scope- really great textures going on here, and the combination of the warmer colors against the more ominous colors make for a really interesting vibe. Evokes different sets of emotions.

Really great work; it's got a lot of movement. You've got so much going on in there texture and content wise. I love how you've got the more refined areas in the white, it reminds me of a swirling smoke cloud. Really stands out against the softer, less focused areas of the piece- and how it almost drips down into the middle. I could stare at this one for a long time; I dig it. Good luck on your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and Subbed.
