I'm going to be out in Omaha, Grand Island, Ogallala, Sidney, Alliance and South Morrill. Can you suggest any and all things/places to catch the trains out in Nebraska please? Thanks
@corxc997 Жыл бұрын
I cant tell you much about Omaha. Grand Island to Alliance, anywhere right along Highway 2 is fantastic. Downtown Sidney has a flyover with the UP Sidney Sub and BNSF Angora Sub which is fairly busy. Alliance pretty much any spot you pick, you will see something. I would also suggest driving about 30 minutes south on Highway 385 to Bridgeport where the UP South Morrill Sub crosses the BNSF

@@corxc997 thanks for the information as I leave Thursday. One last question, what about the area around Crawford hill? You got some great shots of curves and the grade. Any specific locations there? All dirt road on Crawford hill? Thanks

Crawford is mostly gravel roads. Be careful driving and drive slowly or you will more than likely blow a tire. You cant access the cuts in the hill itself, but you should be able to get some good viewing along Saw Log Road just to the southeast of downtown Crawford.
