Media assignment may only ever be set at the device console. Fiery equipped imagePRESSes allow tray assignment via Command Workstation, but only with non-default media.

Pairoj, is the Fiery on your Canon equipped with Graphic Arts Premium and Color Profiler Suite? Has the imagePRESS been properly linearized and calibrated? In what metric does "it" not meet ISO 12467-7 compliancy?

I use Canon C710 with fiery color profile suit but without G7 feature.

@@jeffandtona The black and the green color cannot meet the std. ex the ISO black is 16,0,0 but my printer is 8,0,0 I can't remember the green but the deltaE very high.

This video is so much more helpful than my two-hour training today with my Canon rep. We have a two-side brochure that is shifting one side's image to the left. So when we want to trim the white edges, it cuts off some of the image. Can I please get a guide sheet emailed to me at [email protected]? Thank you in advance!

Scott, if your imagePRESS has a PRISMAsync controller and copy/scan bed, it will generate its own guide sheet as shown in the video at 1 min 57 sec. The guide sheet will ONLY print on 11x17 (or A3, non-US) because that's the size of the scan bed. If you have a Fiery controller, and cannot find the option, I can send a PDF. If your machine has no scan glass, the only optimization method is manual (a whole 'nother video I've not done yet). It's tedious but a lot more precise.
