Yea we only got them to help him feel more confortable and give his feet something to hold onto... they ended up hurting his feet when he does drops and bonks so we got the flight fins on there now and he's still getting used to those.

Thanks! Yup that’s what I was doing at first too I thought it was all about speed but it’s all technique lol the ninja kick with the front foot and de-weight the back foot and boom it gets up there lol you gotta do it quick!

These things go 20+ mph and pretty dangerous if your not riding careful you could lose balance or hit a pothole and go flying lol. Me and my son were riding with a group one night and someone crashed with a regular helmet and was knocked unconscious cause his face still hit the pavement. So yea I feel a lot better with a full face mountain bike helmet lol 😂

how you like the wedges? have you ever tried flight fins? thinking about getting some but the wedges are so much cheaper, wondering your thoughts.

So far I like them a lot! Don’t really LOVE them 100% percent because I can’t grip onto the board like you probably would with the flight fins on big drops but I have a size 13 foot and I’m terrified of my feet getting stuck in the fins but I hear people say they don’t get stuck. Then again they don’t wear a 13 lol. But you definitely need shoes with good support like leather with the wedges cause I bruised my foot against them wearing some mesh new balances. But yea I’m sorry I can’t give you thoughts on flight fins cause I’ve never had them. But I do love these for curb nudges, smaller drops and definitely while riding I do feel the added grip to the board without being scared of not being able to run out a crash. I would definitely buy them again. Maybe once I’m a pro at floating I’ll get flight fins. But right now at 350 miles on my first Onewheel I feel like the wedges suit my needs better as of now 👍
