@@PortsTM what’s the task that’s excited you most when writing/completing? There are some that I create and I think to myself ‘I genuinely cannot wait to see this unfold’.

@@Harvey1211 I always try to have a "main" task per episode that I save for the end of each episode. So this can be the trolley, the carpet, long-distance catch... something that we all reflect back on and remember the most. even years later we still talk about it. There are great tasks in our current series, but as we all took turns as a "Taskmaster" we all took turns to create a unique episode per person.

@@PortsTM ah very interesting. I’m always the person who creates the tasks because I’m the only one trusted to do so and make them entertaining haha. I take my role as the Taskmaster’s assistant very seriously so I’m not allowed to pass judgment on anyone’s attempts. Perhaps you could help me decide whether someone would get disqualified in a task we did last weekend? Fill this glass with exactly 64ml of water. You must not step on the grass and the glass must not be moved. You must not use any measuring jugs or scales at any point. Closest to 64ml of water wins. You have 10 minutes. Your time starts now. At one point, a contestant placed a big wooden board on the grass and stepped on the board to get to the glass. He argued that he wasn’t stepping on the grass with the defence “Am I stood on magma?” What would be your ruling?

@@Harvey1211 He stood in the board not the grass. his attempt his fine. Think of the painting task in s2 or s4 where someone placed tarpaulin on the red green to step up to the canvas. The wording UI see in your task juxtaposes however. "fill it exactly 64ml" and "closest to 64ml wins" its one or the other. the way you worded it if anyone didn't get 64ml they would get 0 points. hope this helps.

We feel that as we're not comedians or celebrities that we wouldn't be entertaining to watch and leave that to professionals onscreen. We focus on the more entertaining side that general public can contribute and entertain that people will enjoy watching. I hope this makes sense and thank you for your feedback 😁

Thanks guys! We don't like recording full episodes or "studio segments" so a complete playlist is an episode of just tasks and points rewards. That's where the fun lies with us 😁

Depends on your intentions. If your planning to play once or twice I'd say the original. But the secret series you can play up to 10 times like the actual series and following a points system 🙂 hope that helps

@@PortsTM what would be your first intuitions about the task? How would you complete it and get your name on the whiteboard?

@Harvey1211 depends on the resources and surroundings. You could fashion a long pole and write your name. Personally I'd knock the whiteboard flat on the ground then writing my name on paper, throw it to land on top

What if Mike retorted to Greg and argued they were "DVD boxes" The results were lost since recording, so I can't share the distances. But Liam got 5, Trevor 4, Mike 3, scarlett 2. And kye 1 😉

@@PortsTM ‘DVD Boxes’ is fair enough to me. I mean it’s not ‘Diabetic Equipment’ or ‘Drink Receptacles’ levels of stretching haha. I am the Little Alex Horne in my family so I always come up with the tasks and frustrate people with my lack of information. If I was monitoring this task, I would’ve measured the length of the Deidre DVD trail in ‘Deidre Barlows’ and ‘Horny’s Hallway’ in ‘Matthew Hornes’. I have far too much time on my hands!

@@PortsTM I just set them for my family. I don’t record them because they don’t like being filmed but I have started filming me pretending to be Greg and Alex evaluating their task attempts. I had a very exciting moment last week because I actually set a team task for the first time! It was inspired by the team task from Series 16 Episode 6 where they had to recreate the garage scene. This may be the saddest thing I’ve ever admitted but I genuinely also make notes during the task attempts on a piece of paper, quotes and whatnot. What’s been your favourite tasks that you’ve ever set?

@Harvey1211 sounds good and a lot of fun! We wish you well! Favourite tasks really does depend. As some I wouldn't class as good could turn into a massive highlight due to your contestants reactions. But mostly I prefer anything that involves locations. Leaving the house to.venture outdoors is always exciting as you get put in an environment that's out of your control

They have full rein on whether they want to watch the show or not. But I'd say 6 out of 8 of us actually watch the show itself. But love playing the game. We go into full detail in our book 😃 thank you!

@Harvey. . . these guys are champions. Of course they spent an extra 5 minutes scouting the grounds for any shards of ice

@@PortsTM I put it to you that the ice block did NOT remain on the spot in both of those attempts, because when it began to melt, the water from the ice block began to drop off of the bin lid and therefore had moved from the spot.

Very kind words thank you 😊 well we tried to convert tasks so everyone can be present. But some are always best individually!

@@PortsTM apparently I played the role of Little Alex Horne very well. We only did four tasks because we’re on study leave now (GCSEs are going on) but I like to think I gave them enough of the Taskmaster experience. Going into the final I said “I won’t tell you where everyone is at the moment but I will say we have three people in joint last on 10, someone’s on 11 then someone’s on 12!”

@@PortsTM My favourite task was a really simple one. “Write down three words to describe the person to the left of you. That person may not know the words you used to describe them. You have 30 seconds.” The look on their faces when I brought out the second part of the task: “Using only actions, communicate to the person you just described what words you used to describe them. Fastest communicator wins.”
