Sunset grill was open 24hs and you can get snacks there. A lacart was very good.

That drain pipe should go to daylight. Using a pop-up will create a low spot that will fill with garden mulch and debris.

I have been debating on doing just that as there is a natural slope I can run the drain down. Thanks for pointing that out.

That accordion style pipe is going to clog easily. A hard pipe with smooth walls would be preferable.

I agree, it’s what came with the basin. I have a brass power nozzle for my garden hose that will fit through the pipe and blast the buildup out.

Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.

Great question. I know there are no elevators or ramps, as far as mobility devices I did not see the guest using any. But the staff definitely move around in electric carts.

Hi, in October we are traveling to Cayo Santamaría and we are staying at the Royalton hotel, I ask you what currency is better to handle and Visa card accepts it and you can buy without problems, thank you and very good video 😀

Canadian or US dollars are accepted. To book a tour you can use a visa or master card. 🙂 Have a great time!

I would definitely go back, but we have gone there for the past two years and next year will be going on a cruise with our kids. The only issue with Cuba is they are having some hard times and some supplies they are short on. Toilet paper and beer were the issues this time. There is always rum which we love so the beer was not an issue for us.

Situation now with economy is very bad I just got back I been in royalton varadero is not worth the money only beaches is fabulous.........if you noticed not many people around Don't go for now

@@hanan3730 That's to bad to hear, we were at the Royalton in Cayo SantaMaria Feb 7 - 14 and there were lots of people. Some supplies were hard to get but everyone was having a great time.

I don’t remember the room number exactly but if you were to look towards the beach at the lower pool our room was in the row of rooms to the left in the last unit at the far end. Go up the stairs to the second floor and our room was the first door at the top of the stairs.

I just booked for my wife and I as as honeymoon in January 2024, can't wait!!!! I read a lot on this resort and the comments are all exceptional which is very very nice for cuba!!! this means this resort is a absolute beauty!!!!

My wife and I are heading back in February. We had a great time last year. Make sure you pack a big mug for drinks at the beach as their cups are very small. Have a great trip!

@solace4114 There were shortages of drinks but there was always something to drink. Always water. At the beginning of our stay no beer so you have to be open to rum. Food was good when we were there again always something but you have to be open to different foods.

Was there in November, cockroaches everywhere, same menu every night for dinner . Beach is amazing,, beach bar serves amazing burgers and quesadillas. Go at your own risk.

If you want to spend triple or quadruple you can go to Mexico, Jamaica or DR. And no, you don't have to prepare your own meals there. First world people go down to Cuba and complain about first world problems depite being in a literal paradise. The food is bland, the paint is chipped, omg, no white wine??? first world problems bro. I always have an amazing experience down there because I'm not entitled and whiny. I'm there for the weather, the beach and wonderful hospitality. I love Cuba.

I can’t give comment to that as I have not stayed at either of those resorts. I have friends that have been to Meliá and they are coming to The Royalton with us in January

Just got back from the Royalton and sadly there was no nightly entertainment. They were citing the fuel shortage problems for the unavailability of entertainers.

Yes there are lots of activities around the lower pool area the upper pool is a quite relaxing atmosphere. At night there are live performances in the main lobby with music! Lots of fun at this resort!

@@jeremyhodgins you can say that again, I haven't seen any antlers curl that much special straight forward like that, the only thing I seen like that are on some cattle breeds but those aren't antlers so I don't think that counts, usually antlers are curled and out towards the side, thanks for sharing experience, really something
