yield doesn't mean don't stop, it means to give way to oncoming traffic, so the driver was correct to stop. (even if they probably didn't need to).

That's where good driving comes in. It's a yield to help keep traffic moving, not stopping. If they stay in their lane it's not a problem.

2:04 the worst moron is the one who didn't stop behind the truck to tun on its own blinker hazard lights. Instead, decided to cross over *a double yellow line* to drive directly into an oncoming lane of the opposite direction. And no, a horn will not fix your stupidity.

2:04 I think you are in the wrong. The truck stopped in the middle of the road because the guy backing out had probably just quickly accelerated backward down his driveway toward the road and the truck didn't want to risk a collision (this theory is supported by the speed at which the grey sedan backed out in front of the truck and how it almost went off the shoulder into the ditch). I agree that the truck should have gone after the sedan stopped before the road, but I think the truck was just being cautious. You for some odd reason then decided to ignore the hazardous driver backing out and the cautious truck who has a better angle and knows more than you do about the situation and to just cross the double yellow for a pass in the middle of the action, risking a collision while doing so.

at 0:15 the truck is yielding to the blue car and in order to do that he has to stop and wait for them to pass. What's your complaint with that?

1:15 Believe it or not, he does have a reasonable explanation. He's hauling livestock (meaning you want the drive to be as smooth as possible to decrease the animal's stress, as they die when stressed), driving a manual transmission, he's heavy, and the light was just about to change without cross traffic. If he were to stop it would have to ne planned, meaning planning to stop about 300 to 400 feet ago to have a slow smooth stop, if you drive that way, expecting every light to change, you really get nowhere fast, when it was easier to try to time the light to make it as smooth as possible. There's a reason why you need the training and a CDL to drive an 80,000 lb vehicle, and a regular Class D license holder doesn't understand what's going on.

There's no excuse for lazy driving. That's the end of a red light. Plenty of time to stop. He ran a red. Maybe only just but he ran a red. Don't like the rules? Don't drive for a living.

I am ashamed to be on the road with people like you. I don’t mean the people in the video, I mean you. Remember there are people in those cars, you have no idea why they are on the road. They could have a kid screaming at them in the back seat, they could have just got off a 24 hour shift, you never know. Everyone makes mistakes, and the mistakes they made in this video are hardly even a petty crime

Maybe the parents of the young girl and her unborn child who were killed last year by a lazy driver think different. Lazy drivers are dangerous drivers and a lot of people are getting worse. How about the kid that died on River road last month? almost killed four people. It's time too wake up. How many people have too die for it too be a problem?
