I find it funny how The Desolate Hope and The Desolate Room are, from a technical and conceptual stand-point, the same game. They both follow you, a coffee pot, wandering a lone area, with your only means of actual variety being the different derilects that have a special simulation for you to roam around in and fight off the viruses. The stories do differ, but honestly, the story behind The Desolate Room is kinda lackluster. It was definitely JUST a proof of concept that Scott wanted to show before actually getting to work on the REAL game. Shame it never got popular.
