I bought 2 pack of red gill opriginal 115mm eels. It was impossible to thread the hook through the eel. Total waste of my money and time. I can not recommend; I wasted my money. It would be better if this company threaded the eels for you. Very dissapointed.

The big Honda outboard has an Accord engine. It’s a good outboard but the main steering/support column is built of plain steel and rusts badly in saltwater. It is very expensive to replace and repainting it doesn’t help.

@@HondaMarineNewZealand Distance is no problem with our Epropulsion spirit 1 3hp. I'll challenge you to a distance test. The epropulsion spirit 1 against your noisey aircooled smelly 4-SMOKE 2.6hp. Hey I'll even let you use your 4hp with the large fuel tank. See how far you can go before having to stop at the petrol station spend money on fuel and fill up again? You up for it?

@@islandmarine4788 27 km on a charge...not bad. Let's do a test - we both start on land and motor 27 km offshore. Then...we will add more fuel and turn around and come back to land...whilst towing you back! G, we are not here to debate which engine is better, we can't deny that an electric engine is cleaner for the environment - during operation. This clip was to point out how OLD 2-strokes affect the marine environment.

I did mention as part of the test "How far you can go before re-filling" But if you want to refill then I'll bring my solar charger (FREE ENERGY) or spare battery. Then distance test will be infinite, defeating the purpose of the challenge. Can you not see this? Of course there is no debate which motor is cleaner to run. Electric is. Thats why so many lakes situated all around the world are increasing banning 4-stroke petrol outboards from being used on them. I just find it amusing your bold statement "2-SMOKE" when it comes down to the basics of engines your honda pertrol motors "SMOKE" as well.

The amount of oil put into the sea from a two stroke is nothing compared to the amount of run off going into the sea from our roads. There are councils positioning road storm water pipes above the high tide mark. This storm water kills all the marine life below the pipe have a look for your self. Even limpets will show you they can not graze on the algae that is their food source once road run off passes through their feeding grounds. Over sea road run off is directed away from running into rivers and streams but not here. The sap from pines kills all aquatic life that is why it is the best week killer.

Yeah pure uneducated crap I run a250hp optimax and burn less fuel n oil compared to anyone I know with a 4 stroke . It’s all about correct set up of your boat. Prop pitch n size matched correctly to your boat along with height of engine all adds up to efficiency and speed and thus giving you better fuel economy .

Whats any better about putting higher amounts of Co,Co2 and Nox in to the water out of non egr or particle filtered 4 strokes. Most other industries 4 strokes without these are banned cause of damage to the environment...

Improve the engine by going efi. The outboard has not seen any major upgrade in 30 years. It's time to catch up Honda.
