Im not the best player at my local pool hall, but I hold my own pretty well. I do this because I have WAY more stamina than everyone else. I eat my vegetables and I workout and go on regular 5 miles runs. People talk about the "grind" when they play for 5 hours or more during a tournament. I just look at them like I have no clue what they mean. Me standing around shooting pool is childs play. I have won matches because of how tired and broke down/tired/drunk my opponent was. While I'm feeling great. Lol

Thanks for the pool instruction. I picked up a Brunswick Gold Crown to practice some of your techniques. So...do you wash down those veggies with a couple six-packs of beer?

A friend of mine shared that philosophy of relaxing and not moving around as much, in order to live a longer life. Unfortunately, he died young anyway when he got hit by a bus!

Guys, the point he’s trying to make is the elimination of the pre strokes to minimise unnecessary movements. Ignore all other mistakes that he might have made and try it out, it may improve your game.

Brother. You sre very good. But you are doing what I'm trying to stop doing. Your head is jumping up. Top pros don't move their head at all.

You jump up too quickly, no follow-through, no stillness after the shot, your cue jumps up after the shot. 👎 Other than that, your advice is solid about stillness during the shot

💯 one simple thing I learnt some time ago that can help avoid wild shots ia to always actively think to yourself, before deciding and taking the shot is: "do not lose the cue cue ball".

I like using bottom with straightening spin, just like your longer shots demonstrate in the beginning. Because this curves the cue into the object ball. opposite of top spin. depending of course on the kick. there are situations where it calls for top. best

I learned this 40 yrs ago and I mean to tell you it will make you kicking abilities way more consistent. They have to freeze you up to keep you from hitting the ball I’m amazed at how many pros I see still don’t do this
