The idea that the messiah is God does not have any base in the Jewish Bible. God is clear: the righteous person cannot die for the sins of the wicked. The Bible is clear, and it is consistent: one person cannot die for the sins of another. In Exodus 32:30-35, Moses asks Gd to punish him for the sin committed by the people in regards to the Golden Calf. Gd tells Moses that the person who committed the sin is the one who must receive the punishment. Then, in Deuteronomy 24:16, Gd simply states this as a basic principle, ‘Every man shall be put to death for his own sin.’ This concept is repeated in the Prophets, in Ezekiel 18: ‘The soul that sinneth, it shall die… the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.’ The prophet Jeremiah looks to the day when the mistaken belief that one man’s death atones for another man’s sins shall no longer be held by anyone: in Jeremiah 31:29-30, the prophet says: ‘In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.’ Listen to rabbi Moses, rabbi Isaiah, and so on. Don't listen to rabbi Paul, as he is really a wicked person and brings beliefs that are opposed to the teachings of God

Hank, this was very moving. Has Jesus come in a similar way to the rest of your family? 50 years is very impressive. Thank you for sharing and caring. It is very touching and meaningful. And pls do continue to pray for me. With Love, Betsy

Thank you for another illuminating sermon. Today on the 'Sermon on the Mount', or shall I say 'Sermon on the Rock' by our Rock, Redeemer, Rescuer who said "I'll build my church upon the rock"... Also, the question: Carpenter or stone mason? A house built upon a rock still needed a roof, Joseph may have a role in building wooden roofs or he built wooden boats so we could become "fishers of men"?

About as good a video as I’ve ever seen, this is going to be excellent for the kids. Also I’m looking forward to Chase eating bugs!!!

Totally missed it on the sermon. Took “Father Chase” 8 minutes to even start saying something. He spent almost the whole time telling stories of his family and making jokes. And totally missed the point of the Scripture, which was that wandering around in the desert was not God’s original plan, and more. Let’s spend more time reading and explaining the Bible. And listening to the Holy Spirit.

Hey, Chris. Thanks. Anglicans Online is not dead. I've been spend a lot of time lately working on regathering our church. The church board voted that this is not the right time to regather. So, I'll be able to devote time back into Walk and Talk Wednesdays. Be on the look out for them soon.
