So we just going to ignore the fact she shot an animal without a solid backdrop.

I started fishing Texoma in the late 50's thru 80's. We had never heard of stripers. Texoma was a great sand bass and black bass lake. After the first couple of years after the stripers were introduced, the black bass and sand bass fishing went to hell. I understand it has come back a little, but not like it was. I've actually seen a school of stripers run a school of black bass up in the shallows of the islands and destroy them.

I can't even count the number of hook or line injuries of raptors/owls I've seen from irresponsible anglers leaving broken line in trees or close branches. See if you can get a center for birds of prey on to speak of these things. We don't have a problem that the West has with lead poisoning with raptors, but it is a real problem with eagles and vultures.

I grew up bank fishing in South Georgia and catching catfish seems universal. I like using grubs from horse muck piles and rotten woods.

So enjoyed this! You all did a great job and gave such great information and tips. I am fairly new to fishing and my husband and I are getting my 4 granddaughters interested as well. Loved hearing the family stories and to hear the praise for God’s blessings. That’s something we don’t hear often enough! Looking forward to the entire series and more. God bless!

It's hard to find beagles that will really hunt. I'm talking about jumping rabbits. The field trial folks have about bred the hunt out of them. They don't want to kill rabbits they just want to to run them and they take them where there's plenty of rabbits so they don't have to be good jump dogs, and they will jump them for the dogs. The field trials have really hurt the beagles for the rabbit old fashioned rabbit hunter.
