@@ZigaZagu Okay, just to make it clear, you're aware the controller I am using isn't conventional Xbox controller, right? It has tons of buttons so I will just go briefly with essential bindings: Rear buttons: two for throttle control, one for gyro camera enable and the last for team communication. Shoulder buttons: Left Trigger for missile, Right Trigger for gun, LB and RB zoom in and out, Left mini bumper for free look and right mini bumper for missile slaving BXY pad: plenty of bindings for this one, I can control radar (switch between ACM and SCN mode, change radar target, etc), switch primary/secondary weapons, trim aileron and elevation, etc... C and Z buttons: Chaff and Flares Left Stick does LS things, so flying, Right Stick controls yaw as well as flaps and air brakes. The middle buttons are responsible for opening various menu and pages, such as map or statistic

frankly, I can't help much with that, it could be that reWASD wasnt set up properly, or there's other conflicting program like steam input. Have you tried asking reWASD in their discord?

lmao yeah, someone in DCS community told me to strap my controller on my head to use it like trackIR because of that.

You probable need to ask reWASD team about this one but last time I heard you need both basic version and Advance mapping license for Flydigi controller. I can't give you concrete answer because I can't just "disable" my licenses to check which one is required. Regarding configs, I do make and share them but only for certain games with rather complex control setup.

@@boombaka Can you show screenshots of your rewasd settings. Very interested in gyroscope sensitivity settings. It would be cool if you made a video how to set up this gamepad in rewasd.

No idea about this one. If calibrating doesn't fix it then it could be because of some settings in PC space software. I can only suggest you try fiddling with Flydigi PC space, and if that doesn't work then try factory reset the controller (Turn off gamepad then press both Select+Start and hold them for a couple of seconds) If all of that doesn't work, you should contact Flydigi for customer support

this FEST has way too many survival crafting games for my liking but good thing there's still gems like this one

Aye, not having to give up face-button action inputs just to look around is one of the cool things about gyro control.

The fix is, believe it or not, to uninstall the Xbox Game Overlay app. The C button is bound to the Share button of an Xbox Series X controller as per the Overlay, and I found no other way to disable the issue

Yeah, the bottom row of buttons in the middle are mapped to misc functions (menu or view change)

Right, what I am using here is gyroscope control. It translates the controller rotation data (pitch and yaw) to in-game horizontal and vertical camera movement. Since the gyroscope is emulated as mouse, I can toggle between viewing and cursor control to interact with the cockpit using a single button

An attachment system should be fine, I think. You can either opt for horizontal layout or install paddles to suit your needs.

Mine is set to disable gyro on button press, and re-activate gyro on button release.

I only heard reports from folks who had issues, I haven't seen anyone saying that their controllers is running well without problem for a year, but it could be that they are content so they have nothing to say about that.

My Vader 3 Pro died after 8 months. The symptoms are the same as in the author’s last video. Analogues, triggers and vibration work, but the digital buttons do not react at all. I disassembled it and found a burnout on the controller located on the front of the board near the left analog and which is marked VGAIDBP1R608.

@@M0e8ius Mine has been running for 3 months without any problems. Do you think all Vader 3 Pros will die within 1 year of use?

@@x-tigerblue2306 The support told me that I was charging the gamepad by charging the phone and therefore it could overheat and burn out. They claim that it must be charged either from a proprietary charger or from the USB port of a computer. Now I bought a new Apex 4 and am charging it from the computer, I hope it doesn’t burn out. You, too, just in case, use only the USB port, it’s slower than with normal charges, but suddenly it really works more reliably and the gamepad will not die from overheating while charging.

Does it happens in other modes (Nintendo Switch pro/bluetooth) If so then it might be a hardware problem

Ayo! I'm just joining the fun, any advice to Lear how to play with gyro? I've never tilted a controller in my life 😂 but the advantage is obvious, great content btw

@@juansotelo3996 I'd say some singleplayer games you're familiar with is a good start. If right at the start you find it too weird to tilt your controller, take it slow and start with horizontal movement only, then vertical only, and once you start to get a feel for it, combone both.

@@juansotelo3996 MGS is pretty slow paced so it makes a good game to practice gyro. Are you aware that you can't mix xbox input with mouse aim in MGS 5? if you opt for gyro-as-mouse you will have to remap the rest of the gamepad buttons to keyboard keys to prevent incompatibility

One of the few rare fun shooters that wasn't plagued with piss filter from that period, for sure

Yeah the AI in this game can be super deadly at times. I tried multiple attempts, most of them are failures. This run is one of the 2 successes thanks to RNG being forgiving to me. There are actually very intense gun fights in some of the failed attempts

Thanks man. Do you know anyway to revert the firmware to a previous version? The newest version has made the controller stop working properly in 2.4ghz mode, despite calibration.

@@Jutang1992 The only way to downgrade firmware is to use Flydigi's android app (Flydigi Game Center). However, downgrading would only be possible if previous firmwares were also listed there, and there isn't any. It's really odd that the latest firmware causes 2.4gh mode to malfunction, which version is yours on?
