I am 46 years and have had lower back pain for as long as I can remember. When I was 25 and pregnant with my son my back pain was so severe I would stay in bed for days. I have been having a lot of issues with my knees and feet for years. You pretty much just explained my entire MRI. I literally could cry. All these years of lower back pain and I was like oh's its just my sciatica I will be fine. I have numbness in my toes and have carpal tunnel and my dr ordered emg testing. The the dr that performed the emg recommended the MRI.

The tailbone is continuing to fuse until 30. Saying you had it your entire life is decieving because symptoms usually donr start until after the tailbone has finished fusing. Kids dont have pain because no child has a fused tailbone. Why always the downplaying of this condition?

Please do my surgery. Ssdi refuses to allow me to retire with this condition. It's making the right side do all the work. I also fractured the right side of my sacrum. I can't function in pain and be on more antidepressants. Docs refusing even giving me tramadol. Methadone doesn't do anything. Prolotherapy was suggested for my torn ligaments but I don't have $5,,000. When I had the good insurance it was remove the disc or fuse the other side. Idk.

I just found out last year that i have a lumbosacral Transitional Vertebrae after my x-ray. If i only know earlier i could avoid those extreme activities i had before..😔 I left a patient 6 times a day. Reason to trigger this Sciatica Nerve pain.😢 Been suffering from February til now end of July. I went for few sessions of physiotherapy combination with chiropractor It helped but the pain not completely gone. 😢

I have LSTV that has caused more back pain over the years. I found that regular, low-impact exercise almost completely deletes the pain for the day. Get out there and go for a walk if you can! 🙂

I have bilateral fusions....live with intermittent intense pain and chronic low grade nagging pain --- pop fresh powered ginger nad pain gone.----but is there some procedure to stop those intermittent ("I moved the wrong way; I stepped too hard; I stepped on uneven ground; I got into my car wrong") moments?

I have a extra vertebrate in the form of the double helix in my hip area which is the symbol for the Fig tree/Baphomet. Seraph serpent blending into the tree.

It's congenital but you are wrong when you say it's been like that all their life. When the tvp articulates with the spine eventually it fuses which is an agonising process. I have scans of my back when it was articulating and 3 years later scans in which it had completely fused. It fused because moving was so painful eventually I stopped moving which allowed it to fuse. It was not fused all of my life. More research needs to be done on this before putting out professional looking videos spreading false information.

also- a lot of the pain comes from the articulation itself before it fuses. rub 2 knuckles on your hands together for an hour and see how that feels. That's what's happening inside the body where the transverse articulates with the sacrum. bone and tissue rub together untill eventually it creates a pseudarthrosis

I have a L6 too and I just started physical therapy last week and it seems to be helping. My pain is gone but I still have no motion in my lower back. I have two weeks left so hopefully it goes away.
