Blue Springs State Park is my favorite spring close to Orlando. The spring is more natural without the stone walkways built around it.They also close the spring to swimmers starting in Nov-March due to all the manatees who winter in the spring. You can see hundreds swimming and resting in the warmer waters once temperatures drop.

Regarding your macerator, I encountered a similar issue. I disassembled it and found a large O-ring at a hardware store to replace the seal. You might already have a pump, or perhaps someone has suggested this solution. As a retired maintenance man with 40 years of experience, I've learned that when you can't find the exact part, there's always an alternative. I hope this advice is beneficial.

You can tow a grand Cherokee with a gas class A. The grand Cherokee only weighs 300 pounds more than a 4 door wrangler and is well under 5k which all class A gas hitches will handle.
@LivinOurDream2 ай бұрын
Agree. However, we choose the Cherokee to help keep the total weight down. The smaller the tow vehicle, the more cargo we can carry. It’s not only the towable rating to consider, but the combined gross weight rating as well.

@LivinOurDream4 ай бұрын
The steps are pretty much the same. 1) press the start button twice with the foot OFF the brake to the On position 2) press the Brake and Place transmission in neutral 3) while holding the brake in Press and hold small button till the red light goes off. 4) still holding the brake, place transmission in park 5] then start the engine. Just make sure not to disconnect the tow bar till you do this procedure, or at least put the park brake on while disconnecting the tow bar, or else it will roll freely when you disconnect. I will try to remember to show in a future video

Great episode! I am very interested in the outcome of your project. My wife and I are trying to decide on and gas Tiffin 34 PA vs going with a DP of some type. I have been concerned about the engine noise issue and your fix is more robust than I have seen others do. It sounded like it did a good job. It would be neat to see a decibel recording of your cockpit while driving. Others have shown that and it could be a comparison. Your current recording video did sound a lot quieter. How did the carpet go back down? Any issues with that?? Thanks! Love your channel!! Very helpful!! Bill
@LivinOurDream7 ай бұрын
We love our 34 PA. We also were torn about diesel or gas, but are happy with our choice. For the money we saved, we added our solar, and could install Liquid Springs and still have $50,000 over a diesel. I’m ok with the lower power for the few times it would come in handy, and the lower mpg is somewhat made up from lower price of gas. The ford V10 engine is a tested reliable engine also. One of the biggest nuisance, truck lanes at gas stations usually don’t have gas, so we need to use the auto pumps. We use Loves, Pilot and larger stations like that when we can. Most have programs where you can save 5 cents a gallon also. We never did a decibel test before, but today we did some tests with a decibel app on the phone. 1) engine off 60db 2) Engine idle 70db 3) cruising at 65mph, 84db 4) accelerating uphill, 88db. These measurements were not precise so take them as is… The app fluctuated a lot, but we tried to estimate the best we could. As for the carpet, we just put the old carpet back for now with a few screws since the floor was plywood. We plan to replace all the carpet in the rig with vinyl someday.
