Julie is the best teacher/demonstrator. 😊. I watch this video, and another poodle vid she made, over and over again.

I have learned so much from Julie and I come back and rewatch her videos and learn more everytime. I can never hear what she is saying while drying which is do funny and I know Julie realizes this. I have done this too in video making dog food, talk while blending something. This is my favorite poodle person on KZbin. Now see that ear technique, I keep forgetting to try that, thanks Julie!

Extreme look 30-40 blade: ears/back of tail. Otherwise 5F: ears and back/tip of tail #1/Orange comb: top line - just past withers to before base of tail, back of hind legs (pin bone to just above hock) and inside of hind legs, reverse comb for tuck up (to elbow) O/Yellow comb (A comb if longer/2 for pet trims): below ear to point of shoulder then skim, body/chest - withers to tuck up, shelf avoiding base of tail, also armpit Remainder is scissor work with Julie’s directions!

I am putting my 1 year old girl in a continental. I am not sure where I should stop her jacket at. I measured her today she is 2 feet long breast bone to pin bone, she is 2 feet tall from floor to shoulder. I’m afraid of making it too short and having to wait for it to grow back in. Any pointers would be great.

Using this for the trim I want on my boy but not doing the German tail and ears as he doesn't quite have a face for that. Has great ears.

New novice groomer have 3 clients letting me to practice my trims with There poodles and one doodle. Can I use thinners instead of chunkers. I am still saving for chunkers and blenders. I have curves straights and thinners

What the brand of your stand dryer.? I couldn't hear. I have a standard poodle, too, so this video is very informative. I am sure Jupiter will appreciate that I have found a new way for faster drying and removing his curls.

I feel bad for the matted neglected dogs that don’t get groomed on a regular schedule that never get brushed or taken care of and have to have their matted coats shaved off right to the skin or endure hours of dematting tugging and pulling at them…… feel bad for those dogs……

Beautiful dog as always, great details on exactly what needs to be done and how you are doing and why you are doing. My fav style is to leave a bigger mane, especially for the balance on these standards. I watched to get any pointers, but the camera angle was a fail. Once you got to the neck/shoulder, your shoulder was blocking siteline. Beautiful job finished
