Thank you, C! I needed a stitch that emulates water and this will def do! I can’t seem to get the wavy or chevron stitches (oh, how many times I have tried). So this is still a nice stitch for my project.

It's okay to get burned out from different aspects of life and not want to do it the way you had in the past. To switch things up, to concentrate on certain aspects, and then (like you said) if you feel like it, come back to it, that's good. It's healthy to switch things up like that. To stay stagnant and just continue to plod on you're going to make yourself sick. You know you don't need that. You don't need that pressure. No one needs that pressure, so since you have the position and the control in your life to be able to make these decisions, go for it, what the heck. You Are Your Own Boss, you know? All right, take care, love you.

I'm making these with fluffy size 6 blanket yarn to create a huge cozy winter blanket for my daughter. I completed one giant granny square and honestly you could make a decent throw blanket with only 6 of these. I'll probably use 16 so it's a Queen size because that's what my daughter likes, but this is such an easy way to work up a huge cute blanket quickly. I had to make some puff and bobble stitches one round of yarn overs less than the patter only because my hook had a handle and couldn't fit that many rounds at once, but it turned out looking just like the pattern square only gigantic nonetheless. Thanks Crystal. My baby is going to LOVE this!🥰😍🙏💙

I haven’t been crocheting for quite a while, but I still like to watch your tutorials. I have soooo much yarn, I’m happy for you that you are doing what makes you happy. You were always trying to people please, and most people aren’t very nice. I would watch and could see you weren’t having a good time. Looking forward to your new yarn coming out😉and a couple of your latest patterns have tweaked my interest! You are a great teacher, and I appreciate all you have taught me, and I have more to learn. I’m happy for you. Have a great Thanksgiving and a beautiful Christmas. Blessings

I love your self awareness and your willingness to truly know what you want to do and how you want to live your life. Just remember no matter which way the camera is turned, you are loved for you. There are a lot of different people out here who happen to love you just the way you are.

So adorable! I have made one and it turned out so great! Thank you so much for making my mini schnauzers so festive for the holiday. I put one on them and they loved it too. The medium was too big but I overlapped and tied under the collar, worked great.

I have been with you since the beginning. You have taught me so much over the years. I'm not necessarily into ordering yarn I basically buy what I can afford when it goes on sale at Joann's 😂 But I love learning new stitches. I'm on my 4th sweater you made in the almond stitch for Christmas presents. Thank you for being an amazing teacher ❤️

Thank you, Crystal! I'm like you, I don't like change and I have been knitting and crocheting for over 75 years. Recently I decided to try a new single crochet foundation and found that it was confusing to follow and just took too much time to learn for what end? I will say that your demonstration is much clearer than two others I watched. For me, it seems to be three times the work for no real benefit. I'll stick with my old, familiar style which has worked for me for a very long time with no problems. (I still live by the KISS method!)
