Should the game come with 5 spare plastic trains per colour? I've seen conflicting numbers.

Hi, we just started playing this map. Regarding the terrain cards, if I have 2 blue terrain card, but no other players have any blue ones, can I still build my train and double the rout's point?

The only thing i did not understand wasnhow to beat the monster ... example the the chupacabra says " in the chupacabras location use 6+ to defeat it" does that mean 6 tokens or hit points total ?

About Gantu: I think Hämsterviel makes more sense as the villain. In the TV series Gantu is very much a henchman, working for Hämsterviel. Gantu himself wouldn't have many allies, just that one experiment that can make sandwiches. Hämsterviel however would have Gantu as his main ally, that maybe can't be discarded. And then the objective would be for Hämsterviel to use Gantu to capture Stitch but he can only do that if there are no other experiments as heroes on the board, so he has to capture those first. Hämsterviel is the evil mastermind, Gantu is the brawn. About Hans: I think the objective is pretty straightforward: Become King of Arendelle. He needs to defeat Elsa without Anna being on the board, and then win Anna's trust to marry her and take control over Arendelle. So like a mix between the objectives where villains need to defeat a specific hero and Mother Gothel's trust objective.

If you draw sandstorm give up your tent or 1/2 your cards, then draw again and it’s a sandstorm do you still give up tent or 1/2 cards?

Man, I really wish I hadn't missed out on this Kickstarter. I had no idea this existed until yesterday and would have gladly paid $80 for this. :( I want those painted figures and extra monsters. I'm a long-time huge Scooby Doo fan and this game looks fun and can be played solo even.

I’m a little confused on the terrain cards, if I want to play but I don’t have the most, does it cancel out my whole turn or just the double points?

The size of the rulebook for this game was a bit daunting so I decided to jump online to see if someone had made a video for me and my friends. Fortunately you had and it made a huge difference in our confidence level jumping into this great game. We had a blast, thank you so much!

At 2 players One player draws 3 cards and the other one 2 cards

youve got to try to block the other person, especially when they advertise which route they are trying to take by their card draws. No way i would have let you built that route from Murmansk all the way to Stockholm without getting in your way. Especially after that 27 point route

2000% agree on your top pick. I'm going to check out the Agatha Christie game. Burke's Gambit is fun, but it's out of print, and costs a ton if you can find it. Spyfall is a go-to of mine, that plays up to 8 players. Secret Hitler has become more fun, the more I play it. Also, Werewords Deluxe is a favorite. For a neat puzzle-y game, with hidden roles being secondary to the gameplay, check out Mouse Cheese Cat Cucumber. It costs very little, takes up little space, and only takes 5 to 15 minutes to play. (Hint: Try to play cards on top of other cards. The mouse and cat can only move if a card is placed next to them.)

Don't you take out all the 1 and 4 cost towers in a 2 player game? In a 2 player game you play with familiars 10/15/20 removing 5/25 cost.

Great game! If i’m not mistaken, though, Kevin had 46 points before taking into account his allies instead of 36 points as added up by Jordan. After adding in allies, monster tokens and the missing location, I believe Kevin won outright without having to go to the tie breaker. Abyss is one of my favorite games. I really enjoyed your play through. Take care!

Loved this video! Two points I wanted to mention: I hear a squeaky sound, which is probably your chair. It is distracting, so please take care of it. Also, there are a few times in the video where you are reading the script, well written by Jordan, and doing so takes away from your teaching power. Please understand the game so thoroughly, that, even if reading, you don’t sound like you’re reading, you sound like you totally understand what you’re saying. Again, great video, I have shared this with several friends who are also learning this game.
