I don't think the timing lock bolt actually locks the motor any longer: they used to have a pointy end, now they call for a special tool. Any sharpened bolt that fits should do it, but the included timing bolt isn't long enough I think (on mine anyhow). It is flat at the end and just brushes the crank rather than locking into the slot.
@MotoEffeXКүн бұрын
@@tyeealpha it actually locks the crank on top dead center on the newer KTM’s, you are correct they do not come with it. I took it off of my 21 Husqvarna that have the longer bolt you just removethe washer. It just makes it much easier when you’re doing the top end with the motor in the chassis.

If everyone would just calm down and slow down 15% the whole stop would be much quicker. This is how my uncle used to gas me up at hare scrambles, there would be gas all over the place 😂

Ohhhh got the handlebar right in the diaphragm and then bucked off like a Jr. rodeo contestant. Painful for sure. I’ve been there. Gotta say it’s better than hitting a rhythm section for the 23rd time during practice and then waking up from a concussion 5 feet from your bike. And nobody gave/gives enough of a shit to help you. Then dragging your bike off the track because your left shoulder hurts & doesn’t work for some reason. Broken collarbone and a concussion for me. And my friends let me drive myself home. That was …. in 2000/2001 ish..when I was 16/17. They haven’t been friends of mine for a long long time now.
